Hore is far and away the best player in the league.

She spent a fair bit of time in defence and still those stats!

Stinnear will need to come up with some new strategies if we are to beat North.

The first half will be an arm wrestle with little scoring. Every tackle and kick will matter

Umpire number 9 better not be anywhere near the [censored] game! not even in the crowd!

Down in the change rooms hugging the players !

How did you know?!?!?! 🤣

Soooo proud of these girls. They’re the daughters I never had. The first year players in particular. Molly, Dingo and Bertie (Laela Ebert) brought tears to my eyes; their exuberance is heartwarming to say the least. To see their excited faces was priceless. Yep, hugs galore. Not just players but their parents as well. I even hugged Molly’s boyfriend! His name is Riley Sanders and he plays for the Bulldogs but today he was a Demon ❤️💙

BRING ON THE KANGAROOS!!!

Heath, Hore & Gillard…..wow. Without them we were toast.

Great marking and goals to Wotherspoon. Really showed up the other forwards!

Best move was Harris into ruck. Really stopped the rot in the middle and forced her into the action.

Disgraceful umpiring no 9. At one centre bounce Adelaide were certain to get a 666 call with a late change, and he called the Adelaide winger into the centre square to avoid it happening…unbelievable!!!

It's bordering on match fixing some of what happens. Has been sports entertainment for a few years but is starting to cross other lines. The prevalence of betting says a lot. Like @binman I bet on footy but it's a hard watch most of the time.

TAHLIA [censored] GILLARD

Yes very very good, sensational pressure from all girls' second half. Excellently coached I thought!

First live game I've been to and loved it. Heath, Hore and Wotherspoon how great were they? Going next week as well.

Anyone know what day/time the prelim final might be next week?

Next Friday is the start of the Ashes in WA so who knows.

The second channel 7 station is used for swaps etc during news time.

Not a great crowd today.

It’s definitely Saturday at Ikon. The time is yet to be announced but it’ll most likely be in the afternoon.

I’m glad you loved it! And also that you’re going again next week. You may well be our lucky charm 😁

Well, I reckon North are getting closer to a loss and why not next week. They have not played teams that put pressure on and if we bring that manic pressure for the whole game there is no reason why we can't knock them off.

A smaller crowd than last week. Not surprised though; Brisbane has Fitzroy supporters who live in Victoria. Adelaide W fans don’t travel interstate in big numbers.

Next week’s match will attract a much bigger crowd.

So proud of all the players today. Heater was outstanding and Saraid Taylor is underrated. Go Dee’s. 😆

Was out all day, saw the score at half time & thought oh no this isn't looking good.

Then checked again & saw the final score.

Brilliant work girls. Great win. I just saw Gillards tackle online. Brilliant stuff.

Hore is just a superstar. What a leader.

Brave win. Great win.

Hore is a Demon champion.

No idea where Melbourne supporters were. That’s a pathetic crowd. It’s hard not to scold.

We are not one club and you can treatise it all you like; I know what I call it.

Different team, different sex, different board, different crowds. Pathetic. Screed over.

Just imagine if Kate hore & max gawn could clone a child together. It would be an absolute champion

You'll have to settle for Kate Hore and Corey Maynard. No cloning required.

It's super disappointing.

If anyone is reading this and they're on the fence, go and have a squiz at the replay. Extremely good game of footy.

I am actually In Adelaide ..Clare Valley who incidentally are the Demons. So proud of the girls ..see you at Ikon next week

👏🏻❤️💙

This is what we were saying after the match today… why can’t it be us? Every win for them sees them closer to an inevitable loss. Someone will beat them. Why can’t it be us?

A child with Maynard DNA. Ugh

Great game. Super proud of all the girls, Hore, Tahlia, Heath, Lise, Paxy, the Taylor’s, Blaithin and Goldy, Harris, Cambell and Witherspoon with the key moments in the last.

The umpiring was bordering on match fixing, the fifty simply wasn’t there, the Adelaide player ran into Paxy for the reversed free kick the spoil was close to perfect and that was a dropped chest mark if ever I saw one. It was game over without those clear blunders and it didn’t come back our way. There was some similar stuff in the second quarter last week. I would be shocked if there wasn’t some bias from the umpires towards trying to make a closer game or keep more interstate teams in it it was that bad. Ok tinfoil hat off.

I went with my son and mother and father and had a great day, yes it would’ve been nice to have a bigger crowd but I’m not sure chiding each other or continuing the Melbourne’s crowds suck talk is going to fix it.

Go Dees, who knows what happens next week, on paper the Roos win but the week off and both teams on a neutral ground with us hopefully getting more stars back in Zanker in particular who knows. I just wish we could see what would happen if Purcell, Chaplin, Beasley and Zanker were all available, fully fit and playing. I actually think that team would beat the Roos.

I don’t blame supporters for not turning up

i blame the AFL/AFLW for terrible scheduling of games

Virtually no promotion of games. A lot of people don’t even know games are on

Our home ground not being in Melbourne

10 years of only playing 8-10 games a year. many of which were blow outs due to 18 teams coming in way too quick

Play games consistently in Melbourne at a venue people can reasonably get to and the support will build.

I feel for our girls playing with such heart to terrible crowds

It crossed the border a long time ago.

There's the obvious wrong calls on ground, but then you have strange clock calls as well. We've been stitched up numerous times where they haven't stopped the clock despite the ball being in the carpark.
