    This needs to happen. With May gone, Lever often in the wars, Rivers potentially being used more often in the midfield, Salem entering his 30s and Petty being…whatever Petty is, why would we not make this happen as part of the Clarry deal?

    I know the Saints are supposed to be Bambi and we'e all supposed to be ready to celebrate their second premiership, but this stinks. I truly hope they have cruelled their credibility within the AFL for years to come. Four days ago Gubby Allen was saying we're just going to get this done and now they find they have bungled their numbers or whatever, and they cut Aleer loose having promised him the world.

    What a bunch of donkeys. Long may their flounder. I mean, what have they really imported for all their spending? Silvagni is the definition of a banged up hack. TdK is a wannabe or a maybe, let's see. Keep spending you clowns. Meanwhile we might just pick up the kid you conned into looking to buy a house in Melbourne.

    Because he's terrible one on one and with Disco, Lever and Petty we have that role covered not to mention we have Adams, May and McDonald as key backs.

    St Kilda were reportedly offering 700k a year.

    Let's not blow that cash. We need to bank some up and chase mid/flanker talent and/or a quality tall who really improves us when the time is right.

    This is St Kilda admitting publicly that they can’t believe they’ve been able to hoodwink players into transferring to them.

    Basically they got caught out because they didn’t think there’d be that many suckers in the market.

    What player would believe them going forward?
