2025 Keith "Bluey" Truscott Trophy

Featured Replies

Is this on tomorrow night (9/9)? I received an email from the club a while back but have heard nothing since. Usually they run a preview on the club website.

They should just give everyone a Season 2025 Participation Certificate.

Not Everyone! We had at least six who deserved better than that.

Max Gawn 2025 👏👏👏

Deserved ALL AUSTRALIAN

KOZZZZY 2025 👏👏👏

Deserved ALL AUSTRALIAN

Harvey Langford 2025 👏👏👏

He’s a RISING STAR in our eyes

Plenty of other good stories like the return of Trac and Clarry, as well as good form by Melksham , Bowsa, Turner and Fritsch.

Unfortunately the many many many close losses means it was a HORRIBLE year.

Yes it is on tomorrow night. Is anyone going to(besides me)

Max to win by a country mile.

Bowey, & Kozzie to in the top 5 and I hope TMac gets lots of votes

1 Max- ripped off last year, couldn't possibly lose this year

2 Tracc - a pretty consistent year - didn't miss a game, polled coaches votes in 10 games

3 Kozzy - deserved AA year

4 Bowey - slowed towards the end but strong start and good middle should see him finish high

5 Gets harder from here but Chin, Clarry, Disco, Melky, Salem all around about 5-10

Hopefully lifetime membership is granted to Simon Goodwin. I appreciate he may not wish to attend, and it might be better to give him lifetime membership when he's ready, but it doesn't change my view - he deserves it.

Would it be a good time to announce Caulfield is a goer ??

Didn't he already get it as premiership coach? If not he should have.

all i want is a judd contract announcement PLEASE oh how ive been waiting

1st - Gawn

2nd - Bowey

3rd - Petracca

4th - Pickett

5th - Salem

I assume Chappy will do the Goodwin role tomorrow night? Would have been better if it was a bit later in the year so the new coach could be there.

It’s on a Tuesday night.

It’s at Centrepiece.

Tickets are $300.

It’s as though the club doesn’t really want folks to attend.

I’m guessing it will be the lowest attendance in years.

If they set the ticket price closer to what’s affordable for us regular folks they would surely have more people attend.

It's actually a disgrace that they don't make these events more accessible to the fans.

You can get an 11 game membership for less than the cost of a ticket to the B&F in what was a dismal season for the club.

Anyhoo, I expect Gawn, Pickett, Petracca & Bowey to be the top 4. It gets harder from there, but the top 10 generally play most/all games and Viney always polls better than expected.

Gawn

Bowey

Kosi

Salem

Chin

Are my top 5

Langford best first year player by a significant margin

Disco or Rivers for coaches award (can’t remember the name of it exactly)

Laurie the Troy Broadbridge award

This is an interesting point. I’ve heard that at least two clubs have discounted their B&F tickets by 30% - those being Richmond and North - for this reason.

And I thought on reading the heading that our positive poster Bluey was getting an award for the best post of 2025

…but your order from your own observations throughout the year.

Happy Dance GIF by Xbox

A fallow year but expecting a couple of older heads and some younger up and comers. Harvey Langford to get the best first year gong and vault into Valhalla.

Ghosty, do you know if they are streaming it tonight? Doesn't seem to be anything on the website or the app.

But but... what about the cost of rubber chicken and cheap Riverland wines

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
