Yeah GC’s pink clash jumper isn’t effective in this matchup.

I’m a proponent of white clash jumpers for most clubs including ours. That’s when they’re at their most effective.

Agreed - go for the maximum contrast. Why make it harder for people to enjoy the game? My brain is doing a lot of work trying to separate the teams.

Gotta say I’m yet to be entirely convinced about Mac Andrew. He never looks entirely comfortable playing that deep defensive role

Hilarious when the clash jersey clashes more than the home jersey

Go AFL

Gee don’t even try to tackle Rowell or you will give away a free.

Rowell is Oliver 2 years ago, Rayner is Petracca 2 years ago. Can we get our boys back to their best

Man I would love GC to win. I don't hate Brisbane as a whole as much as I do some of their players and honestly, either of these two winning the flag is better than any of Collingwood, Hawthorn or Geelong.

I just turned on and thought I must have been on the wrong Chanel.

More putrid that the Cheaters’ pajama jersey.

Rayner ain’t close to Trac at his peak

Love Rowell though. good comparison

What the [censored] was that 50 for?

I thought that you could retreat after a stand call?

PS the camera angles even worse than last night. I hate the zoomed shot all the time - when watching for home a wider perspective is needed to get an overall view.

Tonight's the first time I've really watched out for Sam Flanders and I like what I see.

He would make us a better side. Diddly doodly do it, Demons.

Lions to take it away in the second half

Has been a lacklustre finals series

Yep shocking. This game doesn't even feel finals worthy.

Thank you Mono! Agree on all points

The bloke ran past at least 10m wide and the guy on the mark didn’t move. Basically decided the game right there. And of the 4 replays - zero replays or mentions of that horrific call. Commentators have definitely been told to not negatively mention the umps this weekend after the recent screw ups.

These mystery 50s are ruining the game

It's actually bullish*t how good Will Ashcroft is. The kid can do it all on the biggest stage and is still only 21 years old.

Getting access to superstars like him and Nick Daicos completely changes a club.

suns have been well off the pace since quarter time.

they need to find some inspiration soon cos this game is close to done.

I was ambivalent about this game, but then when the TV focused on the Suns’ box and I saw Hardwick I realized just how much I dislike him

The Lions have the best list in the league by a mile

I’m happy they will win so they are a chance to beat Collingwood

flashbacks to those GFs in the early 2000’s

The World Athletics Champs are on SBS Viceland if this game is over.

Don't worry, we've got Langford.

And should have Mac Andrew.

If it’s any consolation, Mac looks like an average player at best

Really he is very meh. I wouldn’t want to overpay him.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
