Pumped for this match! A prelim is only one game away

It would mean so much to the players to see and hear lotsa love and support… LOUD love and support, from lotsa peeps.

Frankston is a much nicer suburb than folks let on. Please come and make the seedy side of life your friend! 😃

See y’all there!

GO THE MIGHTY DEES!!!

GO OUT THERE AND GIVE ‘EM HELL!

Yes I copied and pasted and amended this from the W GameDay thread. 🤭

Nothing seedy about Franga Ghosty .

You might be thinking about Sam Newman and the footy show.

They did their best to define Frankstonians as dole bludgers.

Google real estate in south Frankston and view the multi million dollar homes for sale.

My Frankston friends Ken and Patricia are going tonite - Dolphins supporters.

Say hello- they are friendly people.

I,m not going - if it was a day game l would have.

PS l used to work in Franga in the 1980s !

Enjoy tonite. Cheers

All good talking about STH Frankston

What about Nth Frankston and the Pines

I did a preseason and practice match at Frankston in 74

Made the wise decision to stay in the MPFL

It’s like any suburb has good and bad always be aware not to mouth off unless you can back it up

Apparently tonight’s game is sold out (capacity reached). We’ve been warned of a hostile crowd.

Good times

If the Frankson ferals start getting overly lippy, threaten them with a rent increase if they don't shut up.

I'm telling you Mods, we really really need the facepalm emoji back!!!

Or just show them how well your share portfolio is going or a photo of your ski chalet.

All this talk of Frankston being rough or not reminds me of my mum's stories of teaching at Balmain High.

Bal-million-dollars-for-a-studio-main.

When she taught there is was a rough as guts neighbourhood full of factory worker migrants from nefarious uncouth places like Italy and Greece.

Is there any coverage of this game? Is it really happening?

If a dolphin [censored] in the woods…?

Probably couldn’t even find a decent cup of tea there then.

Went to a VFL match at Frankston a few years back. Lovely ground with a view of the Bay framed by tall pines.

The local crowd though.... Luckily myself and other Demon supporters were on the other side of the ground. Definitely sounded as though they had well imbibed beforehand

If we win, can we send them in the way with "So long, and thanks for all the fish" ?

A Perfect Circle? Then yes please!

Cheers. I'm on the link, but been checking for the usual 'stream your team' link on AFL which I can't see. Definitely streaming?

Up now

Aha, a Norm McDonald fan. Excellent.

And confirmation that you can seemingly cast from the AFL app to a Chromecast or tv or similar.

Yet to see the quality but it does work.

I trained a a TEACHA in 1978 and did a teaching Round at Monterey Tech for 2 weeks.

I know the Pines!

Is the stream anything but black with lines for everyone currently?

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
