Yeah PF I do Business, Legal Studies and Accounting. The trifecta!

May I also recommend English Literature? To this day, it was the best thing for my legal skills! All that close reading of a book is helpful for when you're reviewing a contract or legislation 🤓

Best of luck mate. Vincent Chungue, guy with the tablet on our bench got an internship as his way in. Maybe try and get in touch with him. He's on LinkedIn.

Thanks for the tip DP! Unfortunately I do General English. However I am a debater, and my oral presentation will be on Mental Health in the afl, so hopefully those skills will help me ☺️

Debating is the most useful skill you’ll learn in school

I competed at a national level for my school and I’ve never lost an argument since. Just ask my husband.

You making it is age appropriate.

Me making it is further proof most men never really grow up.

Right. So no AFL games this weekend, we'll whack all of the VFL finals on at the same time.

They're imbeciles

As you are no doubt aware brownie the VFL must be the worst run sporting competition in Australia. I think they don't want to subtract one fan from the WAFL. They want ever possible pair of eyes on the WAFL. In fact they will probably count the fans watching by individual eyeballs. 20k eyeballs looks a lot bigger than 10k spectators.

After reading all the posts, I have completely forgotten which thread I’m in.

pfft, who wants to be a barrister?

melb uni law > uni blacks involvement > kmpg / bostons > consult to the afl > afl exec appointee

you know what to do @KoltTheRam ...

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

It’s late February. Two teams widely predicted to finish near the foot of the AFL table in 2026 face off against each other in sweltering 30-degree heat deep in outer suburbia in a match simulation with fresh new faces and uneven team numbers. There are no nearby sheep stations on offer; the result promises nothing more than bragging rights for the winner. Nevertheless, the loser appears hopelessly adrift, whereas the other seems to have found its footing after a couple of years of struggle – perhaps a hint at bigger things to come?
