Would help if he didn't fumble evertime he touches it !!!

That last passage in our 50 was not pretty!

How are the doom and bloomers coping with Naughton and Darcy not taring us apart?

Quietly Wrecker it is only half time.

Regarding systems this game is like watching a men vs boys match.

Dogs highly drilled and systemic. We have nothing.

Kudos to Board for pulling the trigger.

Our youngsters leading the way. Stars mostly seemed checked out. Excl Max and clarry.

4 marks, 2 contested

missed another contested mark based on that horrible umpire call

Hasn’t been great but doing ok

It seems his marking has improved. Definitely last week and a little today. But he couldn't have gone backwards I suppose.

Let's hope it keeps improving. But it's been average for two years if we are totally honest of some very ordinary to bad footy.

Seems to be moving more freely.

He's still a concern but Jvr seems to have taken over that title.

He's not really up to it.

And I've been hoping against hope he'll improve.

After his first year I think I wasn't alone in thinking we had a new super fwd.

Then a year later maybe a bip.

Then possibly a serviceable on.

Then I'm not sure.

Now I'm starting to think I am. He's probably not going to make it. Should never have been kept in ruck roles but probably hasn't had too much impact.

He kicks straight. He makes a contest. He's athletic. He's strong.Great leap. Decent agro.

But he simply and sadly cant hold marks.

They always just pop right out. Time after time.

If nothing changes next year will or should be his last. Maybe try him down back.

I’m tipping a 50pt loss and Darcy to kick 5 in the 2nd half

We don’t apply enough fwd pressure and can’t keep the ball due to amateur skill errors

Overall the effort is pretty good, but our skills are disgusting. I can't count the number of times we have been streaming towards goal and have missed a target by 10 metres.

The fact that Salem, Chandler and Sparrow have played every game this year (when fit) tells you exactly why we are in the bottom 6.

And yes, Baker is clearly the best wing on either side. Great to see him doing well.

If only we could go Bang Bang Bang sometime soon in this quarter

Can't complain about effort

Just our skill execution makes it so hard.

Ie.

Langford just has to hit melksham at this level

Oskar Baker really has become a far far better footballer tham what he was at the Dees

To be fair, I think he was actually decent for us, but struggled to get a go amoung a glut of great and in for mids

PLEASE START THIS QUARTER BETTER THAN THE LAST TWO

Strong mark by Tracc but a totally lazy and stupid handball that gave it all up.

Come on. That's just poor.

Reminiscent of his kings birthday handball in the dying minutes

Any chance we catch on to naughton kicking the first in a quarter??

Don’t worry about head high contact umpire 🤬

If a few players like Langers, Sparrow, Tracca, Viney and Chandler could actually decide to get involved it might help.

Just five key players that need to get their hands on the ball or lay just a couple of tackles we may even be winning.

Not good enough.

Taking advantage of a temp coach perhaps or just a day off.

Disco should have killed that.

Gonna pretend he didn't try and chest mark that.

Front on contact. No free. Got to keep 9 in the running at all costs.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Gold Coast

On Friday, the Demons return to our Casey Fields fortress where they have a 77% win rate. The scent of September is in the air and the struggling Suns are on the horizon. The Cranbourne weather forecast? Ominous, like the match itself: a strong chance of carnage. Let’s be honest, last week’s first half against the West Coast was a training drill but we dropped our guard in the final quarter. While this match is a mismatch on paper — second versus seventeenth — football is won in the wind, the contests, and the moments.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #32 Tom Sparrow

The rugged Sparrow’s career appears to have plateaued in recent years. He makes the side on a week to week basis but he is unable to establish a foothold in the team’s midfield and arguably performs best outside of the contest in a forward position without being a goal kicker. He remains a good honest foot soldier but is not a star.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #33 Tom Fullarton

Fullarton managed a couple of games in the first half of the season but soon found himself back in the VFL. There, he found a niche at centre half back but it was not enough to retain a place on the list at season’s end.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #35 Harrison Petty

Entering 2025, it looked as if Petty would be secured in a defensive position, but plans shifted and he spent more time forward, averaging just over a goal per game throughout the season. It remains uncertain which area of the ground he will be expected to cover under the new coaching regime.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The dynamic small forward, possessing an innate ability to generate excitement with his explosive play around the goals, successfully transitioned into a role that afforded him more time in the midfield. The club also negotiated a long-term deal with Pickett, thereby eliminating any prospect of a move west by their star young player.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #37 Kade Chandler

For a few years now, he has been a reliable, hard working pressure forward, but in 2025, Chandler elevated his performance, becoming an integral component of the team with enough versatility to play effectively on a wing from time to time.
