Saints come out flat with an early 19 point deficit to North.

Didn’t see that coming….

kornes will blame the pub session and the over-celebrating of the win last week

sure, it's another kkk (kornes' komplete kontradiction) to his stated views last week but, hey, #kornesknowsbest

St Kilda are so unbelievably ordinary.

I was hoping north would snatch it at the end.

2 very limited footballs teams

Against my better judgement I will tune into Freo v Carlton shortly 😁

Good luck 👍

Watched 5 minutes of footy

Jack Martin 4 goals in 4 minutes as the sub

Cats by 73!!

Running mildly warm for a few moments there he was. Who is his direct opponent?

Schofield has to be up there as one of the worst ‘special comments’ in the history of the game.

Carlton could have an upset here, they are smashing Freo around the ball

4 goals to zip for Carlton

I'm really hoping the Hawks fall out of the 8 but you just can't back against Freo [censored] the bed and blowing their chance.

Geelong winning by50 points, and Port have a set shot.

VLoud booing from the Geelong supporters. Pathetic!

I’m glad not many Dee supporters do that. But I do like the way the Demon army make a lot of distracting noise, led by their blond “conductor.”

Pleasantly positive start by the Blues. CFC have a pretty good record in the West against both clubs in the last few years, mind you ... lets see what the second quarter brings ..

no, nwm was part of their aboriginal academy; completely different to any nga

I may have missed something but what is the difference?

And interested in the drafting rules for players from the 'aboriginal academy'.

Who does he barrack for?

He barracks for Geelong but like all the commentators he knows Collingwood being successful is paramount

Pretty impressive pressure from Carlton and Hewitt is absolutely smoking Freo. Centre clearances is 11 to 1 to Carlton

Come on freo you pretenders. Need you to win to help us stay above Carlton which in turn will give Essendon a lesser pick. The greater good.

Geelong has missed finals only 5 times this century and only twice since 2006. Their players are all absolutely adored by the umpires, they get an unprecedented amount of government funding for facilities, and they somehow manage to recruit and keep superstars at well below market value.

I admire the footy they play consistently but there is something NQR about that club. Compare them to West Coast who dominated for decades and had a similar record and financial stability (up until recently).

I was just saying to someone during the week ‘when was the last time you heard anyone from AFL HQ talk about equalisation?’

We aren’t heading to a Premier League situation. We’re already there.

  • REPORT: Carlton

The text messages started flooding in shortly after quarter time. One read: “Is Melbourne even at the ground?” Moments later, as Carlton’s Elijah Hollands kicked the first goal of the second term, the Blues held a commanding 43-point lead. By then, the Demons’ only score was a behind kicked by Brody Mihocek nearly five minutes into the game. Ironically, Mihocek would also register the last minor score of the day after the game took a dramatic turnaround.
