Logan Morris i think we missed a trick not going for him big time.

(Pick 31) 2023 Let that sink in for a minute.

We weren’t the only ones to miss him. He’s got some elite kicks drilling it down his throat atm. He’d be lucky to take a mark with Petracca, Oliver, Viney and Rivers kicking it everywhere but out in front.

If the Blues and Port lose that's the top 9 sorted.

So much for the competitive balance

Becoming readily apparent that the Suns were over compensated.

Pies have lucked out with three top 5 father son picks and the never ending careers of Sidebottom and Pendlebury. Five automatic best 22 selections certainly help with team selections. (Yeah.. Jealousy is a curse !!)

At the MCG right now, HT, the Blues are horrid. This game msy just well kill the senior coaching career of Michael Voss.

At least I can get a 500ml Asahi here ... mmm beer ... fortunately I still have beer ... 🍺😁

AHAHAHAHA! No club more deserving of being [censored] for this long and that club is Carlton.

30 years and counting… 🤣😂😂😂😂😂🤣

Big fan base doesn’t necessarily = a good club. Long may this continue. It doesn’t matter if we are premiers or bottom 4, Carlton misery is always my unreserved joy.

Carlton Bigfooty should be fun bedtime story viewing before bed!

The arrogance of the Elliot and Pratt days is long gone.

Carlton have done their time and like dare I say Essendon deserve some time in the sun.

The Blues seem to be a very well run club off the field. Players rarely hit the headlines for the wrong reasons.

Princes Park has been well maintained.

Carlton v MFC for the GF next year... Dreams !!

That lack of awareness was a momentum killer by the carlton player who got tackled by darling.

They've kicked 2 in a row, running forward & cerra had carlton targets all alone & he was to slow yo get it moving.

Couldn't agree more. I feel a bit sorry for Voss, his fitness and medical people must take a lot of blame for consistent player preparation and medical errors. Apart from that, if I can't have Demon success, I am content to revel in the constant struggles of the brown bag cheats.

As do Essendon. Arrogant [censored], both of them.

baggers play like the mfc with a strong contested football game based upon territory

and - just like the mfc - it suits the kangas' gameplan which is based more around speed at the contest, with the likes of sheezel, wardlaw, simpkin, mckercher, o'sullivan, etc. having the skill to hit the gaps and hurt the oppo with their possessions

Meanwhile North will be a draw behind us.

No matter what you think of our year of change, to be a draw out of the bottom 3 at the bye is not even close to good enough.

Poor Carlton. i certainly hope they don’t have more decades of being near the bottom 😂😂

That spray That Voss gave them at 3/4 time is something I want to see from goody some games

Vossy should have given the spray at half time!

a few more minutes and north would have lost that game. They just stopped in the final quarter

Are you feeling ok? 😂 Carlton and their supporters are one of the biggest pack of [censored] going round and they deserve nothing

The winds of change must come soon

Gee nth didn't score a thing that final term.

I know the game was done at 3/4 time but if carlton had kicked straight in the 1st quarter then they probably would have won

30 years of BLATANT Cheating, cheating that they were proud of.

In the 90’s We were sent to Princess Park to play Home Games, to help that Elliott creature pay for his Legend Grandstand

We were not allowed to show our sponsors.

Carlton deserve Misery and Darkness for at least a Thousand years, make it 2000 years…

  • REPORT: Port Adelaide

Of course, it’s not the backline, you might argue and you would probably be right. It’s the boot studder (do they still have them?), the midfield, the recruiting staff, the forward line, the kicking coach, the Board, the interchange bench, the supporters, the folk at Casey, the head coach and the club psychologist  It’s all of them and all of us for having expectations that were sufficiently high to have believed three weeks ago that a restoration of the Melbourne team to a position where we might still be in contention for a finals berth when the time for the midseason bye arrived. Now let’s look at what happened over the period of time since Melbourne overwhelmed the Sydney Swans at the MCG in late May when it kicked 8.2 to 5.3 in the final quarter (and that was after scoring 3.8 to two straight goals in the second term).

  • CASEY: Essendon

Casey’s unbeaten run was extended for at least another fortnight after the Demons overran a persistent Essendon line up by 29 points at ETU Stadium in Port Melbourne last night. After conceding the first goal of the evening, Casey went on a scoring spree from about ten minutes in, with five unanswered majors with its fleet of midsized runners headed by the much improved Paddy Cross who kicked two in quick succession and livewire Ricky Mentha who also kicked an early goal. Leading the charge was recruit of the year, Riley Bonner while Bailey Laurie continued his impressive vein of form. With Tom Campbell missing from the lineup, Will Verrall stepped up to the plate demonstrating his improvement under the veteran ruckman’s tutelage. The Demons were looking comfortable for much of the second quarter and held a 25-point lead until the Bombers struck back with two goals in the shadows of half time. On the other side of the main break their revival continued with first three goals of the half. Harry Sharp, who had been quiet scrambled in the Demons’ first score of the third term to bring the margin back to a single point at the 17 minute mark and the game became an arm-wrestle for the remainder of the quarter and into the final moments of the last.

The Demons simply did not take their opportunities when they presented themselves and ultimately when down by 25 points effectively ending their finals chances. Goal kicking practice during the Bye?
