6 Gawn - despite his woeful goalkicking .

5 Turner - one of the few to hold his own.

4 Pickett - early flashes of brilliance.

3 Howes - surprisingly composed under pressure.

Couldn't even find anyone worth 2 or 1.

Gawn easily. "I'll take you both on with one arm tied behind my back".

Pickett for a great quarter and a half

Bowey 21 at 90% and our best ball user.

Fritsch who looked a threat and got plenty of the ball

Howes who played probably the best game of his career to date

Turner who is a real asset with his versatility. Genuine utility players are hard to find but he is one.

I thought Oliver was ok. He tried hard. May did most things well except stop his man.

Amazing we give BOG game after game for a bloke that can’t kick

2.13 for the year is just not acceptable

I love him and he is a MFC legend but he is part of the problem

His kicking in previous years was much better. It’s all mental and he is our leader

6 Pickett

5 Gawn

4 Fritsch

3 Salem

2 Langford

1 Turner

6 Gawn - how his back and shoulders must hurt from trying to carry the whole team.

5 Fritsch

4 Bowey

3 Howes

2 Nah

1 Nah

Agree about his goal kicking but pretty much everything else the man does is exceptional. The only problem he is a part of is the goalkicking malaise. In most other areas he is our only answer.

True but his goal kicking is killing us, such a momentum killer

  1. Gawn

6,5 no one deserves these two

4 bowey

3 fritsch can’t believe he got 20 sports bet would have been paying a lot for that

2 maxy need a procedure here i’d rather him handball of to someone in the crowd, i never want to see him kick for goal again

1 langford highest disposal getter at qtr time, some good moments can’t believe he is in his 12th game or something let’s hope he doesn’t leave us he has the potential to be better then trac and oliver

6 Gawn

5 Bowey

4 Kozzie

3 Fritsch

2 Turner

1 Howes

6 Gawn - a clear winner again, although his kicking for goal is frustrating.I don'tget why he doesn't aim right and allow for his pull.

5 Turner -beaten a couple of times on the lead by Georgiades early, he looked dangerous and mobile as a forward.

4 Pickett - brilliant first half but glute injury made life trickier for him after the break. Teammates blocking his run didn't help as well.

3 Bowey - once again clever and quick with his clearances, although he did have one howler from a kick-in.

2 Fritsch - should have kicked five but fumbled a few times when a goal awaited, but kept presenting. Based on that form maybe he's ready to go back to being our third tall up forward.

1 Howes - did a pretty good job on Rioli for much of the game. Signs that he may almost be AFL standard now. Just needs confidence.

6 - Max despite his two misses

5 - Fritta worked hard all day

4 - Bowsa just wish he had more of it

3 - Disco

2 - Clayton

1 - Blake Howes

Then Kozzie, Tracc and Langdon

When things were hot and we were right in the game our misses were huge momentum killers. Georgeades was huge his leading and marking was red hot we had no one that could go with him and Ports delivery to him was exceptional.

Well, if Max's kicking is truly "ikilling us", he should obviously be dropped.

Who in our current squad would you think can do a better all-round job than Max?

Geez, I watched the first half and yet to see the second, but I'm a bit gobsmacked as the players listed above didn't stretch statistician in the first half - Fritsch, Bowey, Howes! I look forward to the second half (apart from the outcome).

6 Gawn - 100% heart , but his goalkicking is beyond horrific

5 Pickett (electric in 1st half until Butters elbow to the jaw)

4 Fritsch - looked determined and took some opportunities, but missed shots were costly

3 Turner - solid 2nd half

2 Howes - one of the only solid composed players in the back half

1 - Bowey. Usually consistent with disposal. BUT was poor with the two turnovers in the first qtr that cost goals !!!

Lots of negative votes.
