Season over for Freo, Pies resting quality players and still running rings around the opposition and here we are struggling to run out games and trying to learn a new game plan which has been around for years.

The AFL being such an imagine conscious organisation, and one that is worried about a concussion class action, I bet they bring in some type of rule to stop players trying to run off the ground like Schultz did then. It wasn’t a good look.

and given their propensity to suspend for outcome is the Freo player a chance of being suspended? And I’m saying this not because I think it worthy of suspension but who can tell what the MRO will do

Heresy to admit this on Demonland but Collingwood are up to their necks in the premiership race. Elliott and Hill are arguably the best small forward combo in the competition.

Kozzie do you really want to consider walking into this club called Fraudmantle?

Think long and hard as Jacko is now!

The Pies work off the ball is off the charts. That’s why they’re in so many games.

If Archer is suspended for 3 weeks then (Clarke was it?) also needs to go. He didn’t have to jump into Shultz.

And I also am not saying it should be a suspension, but if players have to take ‘reasonable care’ then he has to be gone.

No suspension. Both players were committed

So much for my tip for Freo at home after the Pies outs. Freo Coach will be front and back page all week...

Yeah, in Freo.
The rest of the country doesn't care.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
