Fullarton.. Last Ever Game

WTF was he recruited???

joeboy - fair summation overall

Thought it would be unlikely for Petty and Pickett to repeat last week’s heroics.

But Fritsch and Petty did manage to contribute to the total score.

Tholstrup - Pick not justified

Windsor - Disposals increasingly concerning

MFC - One good quarter

Between him and Jefferson we have come up empty handed.

Tholstrup is 19 years old and is 2 games in from a 10 week injury layoff. Might wanna cool your jets on that one

A kiss on the head to congratulate a teammate for kicking a goal… love, love, LOVE Kolt!!!

Generous on Langford, @joeboy. He was neither smooth nor composed tonight. He got a lot of the ball, but did very little with it. His upside is enormous, but we’re supposed to be commenting on this one game.

Nup agree with BLWND with this one he is not a superstar and should NEVER have been picked after such a long layoff. Goodwin does this a lot!

Disappointing game again by Caleb. I haven’t seen one reason to say he can play half back anywhere near McVee Bowey Rivers Salem and maybe the potential of Seston and also don’t forget AMW next season.

We are missing out on our best and most accomplished runner and user confining him to defensive duties. His game has not expanded as Goofy and his skill missing from the centreline is hitting our potential aggressive and skilled approach.

Yes I want the Duke in the centre not on the wing to become an elite player in our reset and for him to grow his talent he undoubtedly has. Have seen him regress as a player and please I do understand he has had an unfortunate injury which has hampered him.

Another older rushed back under Goody’s pickem they are available policy.

Spargo says hi also!!I

Needs to go back to Casey and only get a game in the seniors if he suddenly becomes a more physical player. I highly doubt that he will so he's a certainty to be delisted at the end of year. Luker shows more physical presence and deserves to be developed.

He’s played two and won two.

Not all toys are shiny. He’s the future, the alternatives to him are probably not. Invest in him and it will reap dividends. One thing you know about Kolt, he brings energy and maximum effort and that is infectious in team sport.

That’s the spirit!

Langford makes some mistakes, but a few of them were in service of the game plan hitting up the corridor / 3 qtr kick - I'd rather see him make this mistake at this stage.

He had a couple of very important defensive involvements when he was almost last man, and I watched him work up the ground to get involved in the play afterwards. Has quite a tank.

He's not the prettiest player - Lindsay is an easier watch, but takes fewer risks.

When Harvey he is involved we look a better team imo and he has an air of unpredictability to him.

Of course he’s not a superstar; what player is/was a superstar so early in their career?

My mate asked Alan Richardson at one of our preseason games why Fullerton hadn't got a game. 'lack of a competitive nature' was the reason he gave.

Strange recruit given our experience with Schache and Weid.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
