The pressure shouldn't just be squarely on Simon Goodwin's shoulders though. The players are paid alot of money to win in a high performance sport. If they don't perform they shouldn't get paid as much as they do.

Clearly some people are going to be critical of anything that Brad says in this situation, some will appreciate that he has spoken and some will prefer that nothing is said. As such, he can't win, whatever he does.

Without outlining exactly why we are in this position and what we intend to do differently to fix the situation, I find the letter entirely pointless. As such, I think I'd prefer he said nothing and avoid giving the media anything to tear apart.

I would like to think that he has been far less "vanilla" behind closed doors.

FFS sake - ease up on Brad Green. A great of the club and has been nothing but a decent Melbourne person for 30 years. Came onto the Board when it was suing each other and accepted the presidency when the two that preceeded him were doing their best to destroy the joint. Made the lawyers go away - removed the toxic CEO and is now lumped with a premiership coach who can't read the room. The guy has been surrounded by psychos and many want to pot him. Amazing

Sorry LH just re/read your post I liked that you raised the point re the FD review, we certainly need an update as to where it has progressed to I guess I reacted to the inference that it may have been a sham given the coverage that it received post season. Sorry.
