Carlton's back half ball movement is a million times better than ours. Scary how bad we are considering they are also 0-3

such a dumb elbow. no need at all

Houston just elbowed Fogarty’s jaw.

Christian has just sms’d he won’t be looking at it.

Let’s see how this one goes. Jack Riewoldt just said Houston elbowed him in the jaw and now Brad Johnson has said he is in a fair bit of trouble.

😁 Not only that, but he's threatened to resign. Redleg, I still believe that's one of the more outrageous things to have happened in our game. And every piZZ poor journo lined up behind him

I reckon most clubs would be saying the same inside the four walls 227

Houston should get more than Archer etc but no concussion so it’ll just be 3 weeks even though it’s far worse and could break someone’s jaw

Because the AFL is a just and fair system, Houston leaving the ground to deliver a forceful elbow to the back of a head to an unsuspecting opponent coming in the other direction will get at least as many weeks as Pickett's clumsy clip as Moore was sliding into him, yeah.

Yeah?

Yep.

Mm-hmm.

2 words, delayed concussion. MFC to cover Fogarty’s match payments.

Get it done pronto.

Common Mr Leg, by the time Tuesday rolls around you just know HQ et al will be calling it "A Footy Act"

Daicos - who commentators say is head and shoulders above every player in the comp

Running at 20% disposal efficiency

Ralphy about to slam him I think.

Enjoying the game seeing pies behind. Keep hoping one of the blues players run into that scumbag or one of those daicos brothers, prndles Sidebottom. Anyone really

MRO will probably refuse to cite him then threaten to quit if it goes to the tribunal

Yep said 3-4 weeks after saying has to be minimum 2, but then increased it because of potential to cause injury.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
