In some ways, it is good, because it shows he hates losing and wants the Demons to win. But it could also be a sign that he is fed up and wants to leave....

He was quite distraught. He's an elite athlete as they all are but you can see it cuts deep to lose. To now be 0-4 that will be a litte soul destroying for someone like him. I don't blame him if we wants to leave. He can give it his all but it takes a team effort to win and we are being out coached.

what i meant was his level of execution and effort was much better than his team mates hence why would he hang around

I think @Dannyz comment that “Tracc doesn’t like his teammates and the players don’t like Clarry” led me to my comment. If true - and I have no reason to doubt @Dannyz - then it would seem that bridges have not been mended and we are a fractured team. And we are playing like it. There is no selflessness, there is no “love”. Its going to take a better coach than Goody to fix that. We may be better off getting rid of both of them. It cannot go on as our good young players are going backwards - Rivers, Fritsch, Petty, JVR - which is criminal, given their obvious talents. I was thinking that Rivers might be our next captain, but you cannot nominate a captain whose playing in the 2’s. It’s time for big changes - do we have the gonads to make them?

What are you referring too here?

The problem for Trac is he'd be wanting any club he moved to, to be:

1. A big club

2. Melbourne based

3. Winning

4. Able to fit in his contract

5. Able to facilitate a trade

That rules out Collingwood and Carlton. Pies don't have the trade capital, Blues don't have the salary cap space.

Leaves Hawks (why would they?), Tiges and Essendon (aren't winning).

The whole team bonding session has failed dismally in Bright. That much is clear. Figure out who is at centre of this. Clarry? Trac? and [censored] them off end of year for whatever we can salvage. Frankly I don't care as long as the rot has been stopped. They are both contracted for another 5+ years and we cannot continue to have them impact the stability and wellbeing of the club.

The best scenario we can hope for is to have both Trac and Oliver play well and consistently to attract at least some interest and value. But our position right now as a club will mean that we will get absolutely murdered on the negotiating front. If we can get a single first round pick for both players, we just have to take it. Makes me feel ill, but this is how toxic the whole situation is.

We cant also be taking only draft picks either. We have to overpay to get other players in the door. Have to chase pre-agents. Its going to be so difficult to get anyone to come in atm given the absolute joke of a club we have become in the last 6 months.

Only MFC can implode the way we have. How i wish i didnt love this club and that i could just not give a [censored].
