Now its 2 years too late to wake up

The lack of action has been criminal in my view putting Green iin was desperate and will ensure very little happens while we leak memberships

The MFC is famous for pulling the trigger too early and contracting too long on coaching and player side.

We are too nice and quite often pay the price.

Ruthlessness is not in our DNA bar roughly Nov 2020 through late 2021. Then we seemingly got comfortable with our lot and resumed normal programing.

Possibly earlier. There's no denying the last two games have been dreadful. If at some stage Goody loses the players' faith THEN he should go. I'm not sure they have yet.

sometimes I think players and coaches would actually benefit from reading these forums and the comments…not often, but a harsh reality check isn’t always a bad thing. Get out of your bubbles every now and then and read what everyone is saying. I know we all think the media are a pack of [censored] but they generally just say what’s going on.

In the last 28 years we've done it four times. So I would say reasonably good.

Also, Green if anything suggested the use of the word “love” wasn’t something he personally gets around but explained that it’s about a concept - whether we use the word “love” or “connection” or just the club’s motto of “true”, that was the focus.

I would guess most fans don't care about love-ins and whether we are "getting around Goody/Richo" with a Kumbaya Culture Titan.

Bottom line, most would probably just wanna see a maniacal never say die white line fever effort from the 22 that run out week in week out for four quarters regardless of injuries, off field issues and any other extraneous factors.

The last two weeks have been anything but, aside from a few personal exceptions in an individual sense player wise.

Unaccountable, amateurish footy has crept into the group and it's completely unneceptable.

Even Simon jumped in there with the nonsense Max comments. Amateur stuff from the leader with the Cap having to cover for him and try to explain it in the press afterwards.

The is not presently an AFL footy team. It's a rabble seemingly in free fall looking on.

And Brad's still talking finals! My god. Talk about deluded. How about we just try and get this week right!

On the last para - I can guarantee you that if Green avoided answering a question about whether we still views finals as the expectation, he’d cop it on here for “accepting mediocrity” or not having a “winner’s attitude” etc.

I wonder where we would be if we got the points rd1? We have always been pretty fragile as a club mentally. That shot of confidence having beaten GWS could of been massive for the players. Since then they look pathetic and the opposition feed off it.
