Hi all,

I have received the digital demons text, offering me Kayo at $350 for the year.  Seems a good price compared to normal.

Do I just cancel my current membership and rejoin through this?  WIll that work?

I waited till mine was close to expiring then renewed but I didn’t cancel it just renewed

I would contact MFC Membership department first to discuss as you need to first pay for it then u should receive an email from MFC which will have a link and follow the instructions from there.

I am useless at this type of stuff but even I managed to do it successfully much to my surprise and my kids so u should be all good.

Also I wouldn’t click on a link from a text because in this day and age it could be a scam

Good luck with it bn.

Depends how much you like watching other sports.

AFL is the only sport I’m really passionate about, and paying for Kayo during the AFL season only, works out cheaper ($320).

Mine auto renewed last October, but I don't have to activate the code until the old subscription expires. Or are you asking about changing from a different type of membership ( like armchair) to the digital one? A few years ago I changed my Armchair to a 3 game as I had a chance to get to a game, I rang and they changed for me. The membership team will be worth a call.

I have been with Foxtel since the Austar days ( 2004 ) I pay $66 per month for my package which includes most sports that I enjoy watching. The beauty of Fox Footy telecasts of all games live ( except AFL Grand Final :( ) is that there are no ads during play .I am unsure if this applies to Kayo ? By the way, if you go to the Foxtel website there's a heading " Max Coming Soon To Foxtel "......hmmmmm, I wonder !

HBO Max?

launches march 31

if you have foxtel you get max+ads for 'free'

binge is, effectively, dead

max are yet to release their price points - that's going to be interesting to see

Got mine last year with GWS. Renewal this year was $310.

If anyone is in very remote australia and has no Kayo option, fox has confirmed that $25 per month for movies and afl with no lock in contracts. This is only available to remote Australians. I have the number if people want. Pretty good offer that includes foxtel go and streaming games on demand. Limit to 5 devices and 2 screens simultaneously.

Sounds great but check the fine print on AFL games. Binge (Kayo's "sister") has movies and some AFL when on channel 7.

Quite a different product to Kayo.

Good luck and may we ask where you hail from. Rare to hear from remote Australia these days.

Go Dees

I had to read the rest of the thread to understand it wasn't Max Gawn who was going to host another footy show. Seriously.

Has anyone got feedback on the extra coin for 4khd?
Is it actually worthwhile?

I'm using Starlink and download speed is around 123MBPS
TIA

If you're watching on a big TV.. 65" plus 4k is great. (it's not a chalk and cheese difference... think 20%)

Your internet speed is more than enough.

Give it a go and if you don't like it you can cancel/downgrade your plan easily if you're paying month to month

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
