langford? 7 games in and 3 bog's already he is that guy

i would like to see jackson, treacy and a pick maybe for jvr, kosi and mcvee/woey that then frees up a spot down back for sestan and or adams also that only leaves us needing a small forward everywhere else on the ground is solid

There’s no world where Fremantle would give up Jackson and Treacy, let alone with a pick, for the players you listed. But I’d also say it would be insane to give up McVee.

McVee is one of our best users of the ball; why would we give up one of only players with the ability to link and run?

Woewodin wouldn’t even cut it as steak knives in a deal.

Don’t get why he has to move across the country to avoid family. I can do it from two suburbs away.

is Jackson and Reid for Kozzie, Kolt and Woey fairer?

Medias heads would explode if we got Dogga but didn't lose Kozi. Please this happen.

Offering players that Freo don't want or need isn't going to get it done.

My guess is that if this happens it will be simple..... Koz for Dogga.

What about JVR and Koz for Jackson and picks?

The real question is, was Windsor and Jeffo for LJ fair or is there still left over animosity in stealing LJ from us for peanuts. Remember, he was pick 3 and I was livid in what we got for him, given what Freo coughed up for Bolton.

Windsor is a gun but better picks should have gotten us closer to securing H.Reid.

Not those types of off field issues.

Family drama that can be resolved by, you guessed it, getting the hell away from said family.

Im sure it will continue to be a distraction wherever he is to be honest.

There’s no way we get him without giving up Kozzy, and if Kozzy doesn’t want to leave then Freo have no incentive to trade him to us.

I’d much rather keep Kozzy

Jackson left us because of off-field issues.

Now he wants to leave Fremantle because of off-field issues.

Haven't we had enough of those recently?

I think Freo had two first round picks in that draft and traded the highest one out before entering negotiations with us to bring Jackson home. Screw them.

As a supporter I agree with you, 100%. But as an entity and at an organisational level, we seem to constantly drive deals where we walk away ‘happy’ (i.e., get the target at what we see is reasonable or ‘market’ cost). I wouldn’t expect us to go down the Bell/Dodoro route; it’s just not who we are culturally (personally, I find this to be better and we largely get our deals done with a a minimum of fuss).

As I said though, I absolutely agree Freo walked out the winner on the Jackson deal. That was unders.

Mommas boy wants to come back?? Steef, can come back though Casey, SHAFTED us bad luck son!

I mean, if he’s coming back through Casey, he’s still on our list. Seems a little redundant.

Trade Clarry for a F2 and get rid of 90-100% of his salary

Mcvee, JVR & F1 for Jackson

Free Agent- worpel & Allen

Instantly back into flag contention with another pre season under the belt of our high end youth core.

The club will continue to prioritise keeping Kosi above all else. And so they should.

Kosi should not come into the conversation whatsoever, if we feel there is even a small chance he will be happy to stay put. He is far too valuable to just offer up for a player who clearly has a strong desire to not only move back to Victoria, but who is pretty set on the idea of playing for us. That doesn't happen often, and it gives us more leverage than it does Freo.

Also wonder how Kosi will feel, knowing that if he goes to Freo, he all but makes his cousin Dudley a fringe player. Hard to see how Freo plays all 3 of Dudley, Kosi and Bolton, plus Reid and Walters. It just doesn't work.

Excellent post and agree 💯

If it happens it’ll be a straight swap

Why? Because the media wants it to be that way? If it happens it will be the player wanting to be traded for personal reasons with a massive contract.

What does his mum think?

Update. LJ and Freo will work out their challenges and he’ll stay there! Just wait a few weeks and it will be a media circus once again.
