On Konstas he came in based off unbelievable form

Handled Bumrah differently and changed that test

Cricket is crying out for some personality and we think he is arrogant?

I personally like the bloke.

Funni the Indian cricket team aren’t arrogant AT ALL.

The kid did it differently and really got under their skin. It was a thing of beauty to watch them unravel.

That’s not the point. He had no business getting involved in a situation that had nothing to do with him.

Not only was it none of his business, I don’t care what country you play for but when you’re a 19yo debutant you show the world’s best bowler some respect, you DO NOT tell him to “get back to your mark.” This is Test Match cricket, not darts down at the local.

Exactly right, It’s Test Match Cricket.

I haven't read this thread through, but I'm surprised to learn Konstas and Bumrah were at a Peninsula pub together?

Confirmed. They had an argument and Steven May was in the vicinity. More to come.

Bunny, think about it logically. Do you really believe that McDonald would instruct Konstas, in his first test, to do that? That would be like Goody telling Langford in his first game, to rough up Maynard. If it happened I’d be incredibly shocked.

That would be hilarious.

Hey @binman, my apologies. I noticed in my last post to you I meant to say Binny, but it autocorrected to Bunny. I’m also sorry because I chuckled when I read it.

Thanks. I was late to the party, and was wondering WTF Bunny was.
Especially since the topic had turned to Cricket.

FWIW, I thought Jasprit was pushing Uzzy a bit too much during the case in point, and it could have been solved by the umpire while everyone had their shirt on.

Absolutely.
He should tell Johnson.

Or better still, someone playing their last game.
Not Maysie though. Too sensible now. Won’t even start a fight at Sorrento.

Melky’s last game? But we’d have to wait until 2030 when he and Tmac and Maxy retire 😉

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
