If that clip is to be believed, how is he only being offered a two year deal? I'm not saying he should get some Pickett-esque lifetime deal, but three years seems more reasonable for somebody whose career was trending way up at the end of last year.

I think if he did decide to go, I think Fremantle would be the favoured club right here, right now."

Twomey just aims and fires arrows !! What a lot of hot air most of the time 🤮

I doubt he was only offered two years. I suspect he was offered a range of options and he preferred/settled on the two year deal. It's not uncommon for players to do that until they hit free agency.

Ghosty, get him to put up in Crypto currency ( or Tulips) , after all Crypto is backed up by nothing but trust on the WWW. This sort of speculation on stocks and bonds, have never gone bad in the past.

I hope all our players, want to stay and play betterer.

l wouldn't swap them for LJ, JVR will come good, he has dropped form for a bit as a young tall and all of a sudden he is no good

Nah I really couldn’t do it. I’m not familiar with the poster. They’d have to irritate me on and off and to varying degrees for four years to reach the PF level of familiarity.

In the past, When the Hawks were great in the 80's (? ) All there players got experience in the seconds for a couple of seasons, then got a go in the ones I do not like them getting experience in the senior side, just old I expect,

We can perform the transaction at Gosh's behind a tree away from prying eyes coz I don't want to wind up on the front page of that scandal rag "The Truth"and worse you might even have to write to the Hart Balme section to purge your soul!! Well Ghosty... DEAL??😁🤩😜

Ok Twomey is probably the best of the bunch … but it’s a very low bar. They all throw random darts and some hit but many miss. The gutter starts at the bottom with the deep-mud-crawler Sam the grub McClure.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.
