Whately asking good questions, straight to the point. Roffey trying to play a straight bat and has said 'I've not talked to him about that so can't comment' a few times now.

I just need a brief run down. I'm not going to listen to it.

It's not much. A lot of 'I'm not going to comment, I'm not involved in those discussions, I haven't spoken to Trac/Trac's family.'

Also a lot of 'we love him, we're working with him, we're looking to get him back on the field next year'.

Does feel like an appearance for appearances sake (as expected), not getting anything new here.

I'm assuming she's in studio? Watch the media  doorstop her on the way out.

She’s on the phone

it’s not a great interview. Very generic

How has she not spoken to trac? She's the president.  I would have thought she'd be the one that needs to know why a player wants to leave. She needs to hear what's going on.

This is a train wreck.

She’s not sounding good to be honest. Shouldn’t be doing the interview. Not saying anything except sounding like she doesn’t know enough.

Can anyone imagine Eddie McGuire saying "I haven't spoken with the family"?

He'd be at their bloody doorstep.

Seriously the club buckled here and gave into Demonland hysteria for Roffey to speak.

To be fair, we were never going to be happy with what she had to say given everything going on, but it turned into a pretty embarrassing performance from Kate. Tried to give political answers that didn't really say anything but was caught out by Whateley in her tripping over her own words. I know it's not her direct area of responsibility, but it came across as very poor that she hasn't spoken to Christian or his family given he's arguably our most valuable asset.

Probably a lot of people would be happy if she said she would resign or if she presented the project for the training ground.

I think it’s becoming clearer how this club went from what it was in 2021 to what it is now. Poor leadership from the top. She has to resign and step aside. Utterly pathetic and embarrassing.

takes no responsibility, according to Kate, she's doing a good job

She did acknowledge there was issues at the club. I wish Gerard asked her what they are. He was pretty soft with his questioning

So Kate hasn’t spoken to Tracc or his family (lately)

”not my Job”???

She is living in fantasy land

Clean out the office….

What's the point of this interview?

It's not uncommon for a President to give 'Board-type' answers, but then why bother? If you're going to do an interview like this, you know they'll want SOMETHING - and if that something (the only thing so far, I guess) is that you say you have not spoken to Trac it means there are only two scenarios:

- She hasn't spoken to Trac. But if that's the case, WHY NOT? Jump on the phone, be proactive. Do something.

- She has, and she's lying. Again, what's the point? This is the most likely scenario.

These things are pointless, and do not help us at all.

Was happy to state that Kozzie is not leaving but couldn't say anything about Petracca because he hasn't spoken to him.

She's a dead set liability

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
