Watching the GWS , Sydney and Hawthorn games and you think gees we are so far off the pace. Watching tonight I think we are still in the window of being a finals team for the next 2-4 years

Really a shame Dogs and Hawks played each other 1st up

I’m happy we didn’t opt for a McKay trade

How's the contrast with Jeremy Cameron's snap from the pocket and McKays piddle dribble for a throw in

Hipwood has been involved in every Blues goal.

Absolutely disgraceful effort.

god, i hope the blues don't do the impossible

Carlton will be straight set

Maggots doing their best.

Ignored 4 classic HTBs by Carlton, then a 50/50 at best goes to Blues.

Haven’t watched many Brisbane games this year, but Matthew Lloyd said a few weeks ago that Brisbane won’t win it because their goal kicking inaccuracy is going to cost them at some stage. I can see what he means. So many people wasted opportunities

Dissent 50 meters would have ended the game - of course ignored.  Carlton are the worst and never get pinged.

Anyway, Loman finally nailed one.

Not really relevant, but Geelong are thee worst dissenters by a country mile, and never never never get pinged for it.

They signed him until 2029 too. I know a few lions supporters and none of them rate him

OK.  Carlton AND Geelong equal worst.   Cripps, Dangerfield and Hawkins never ever pinged.

I wonder if Cameron ever regrets his choice of song

GWS v Brisbane next week at Spotless (or whatever it's called). Looks like the AFL will need to put in a call to Rent-A-Crowd.

Deegirl, if he didn't regret his 'rev the bike' routine, he was never going to regret his song. Hell, he could go with 'I feel pretty, oh so pretty'

So, next week GW$ v BNE (SCG), and Port v Hawks (AO). I would go for GW$ and Hawks.

How many direct goals has Hipwood conceded now?

Was it Eric the ant, or the gnat, in the Monty Python song?

How many players did Newman snipe before he was reported for a strike in Neale?

I counted 6 acts on players who weren’t looking and not one free against. Must have taken the angry pills.

  • PREGAME: Essendon

  • NON-MFC: Round 04

Round 4 kicks off with a blockbuster on Thursday night as traditional rivals Collingwood and Carlton clash at the MCG, with the Magpies looking to assert themselves as early-season contenders and the Blues seeking their first win of the season. Saturday opens with Gold Coast hosting Adelaide, a key test for the Suns as they aim to back up their big win last week, while the Crows will be looking to keep their perfect record intact. Reigning wooden spooners Richmond have the daunting task of facing reigning premiers Brisbane at the ‘G and the Lions will be eager to reaffirm their premiership credentials after a patchy start. Saturday night sees North Melbourne take on Sydney at Marvel Stadium, with the Swans looking to build on their first win of the season last week against a rebuilding Roos outfit. Sunday’s action begins with GWS hosting West Coast at ENGIE Stadium, a game that could get ugly very early for the visitors. Port Adelaide vs St Kilda at Adelaide Oval looms as a interesting clash, with both clubs form being very hard to read. The round wraps up with Fremantle taking on the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium in what could be a fierce contest between two sides with top-eight ambitions. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons besides us winning?

The Demons have slumped to their worst start to a season since 2012, falling to 0–4 after a more spirited showing against the Cats at Kardinia Park. Despite the improved effort, they went down by 39 points, and the road ahead is looking increasingly grim.
