This โ€œpile onโ€ is becoming ridiculous (and bordering downright disrespectful). The media can smell blood (mostly planted by themselves) and are just running with anything they can conjure up against the club. Iโ€™m not one for a response from the club but would love to hear from someone senior, calling out the media and holding them accountable. So much ridiculous speculation.ย

    The response from the club was on Saturday. That is the only response that actually means anything.

Any concerns that Collingwoodโ€™s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.ย

After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kateโ€™s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwoodโ€™s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
