In my OP i think there has been some pretty highbrow meetings taken place in the last week, between The AFL, the MFC and of course The Media Executives , not the S kickers. The result of which it seems to me that The S kickers have been told in no uncertain terms to Drop Off and make it a clean break.

Let's see.

I'm sorry, what?

So the brand thing and his earnings are a selfish motivation, but to be a professional athletes requires a certain selfishness and ruthlessness.  An ambition and determination to improve and win.  By contrast we can all name plenty of other players that were happy enough to turn up and go through the motions.  I've never got that sense from him in any game I've seen him play.

If it's true, the whole brand thing really reeks.  I'm not actually that convinced it was something that Christian nessacerilly put such a big emphasis on himself as opposed to the media types blowing it out of proportion.

But if true, there are two sides to the coin (pardon the pun).  He signed up for massive money to a long term contract and that ought to have counted for alot more than it seemed to in the situation.  He's paid to be a footballer first and his own ' brand' is totally secondary.  Such a shocking look in a team sport.  This situation where free agency has diminished the value of contracts is total BS IMHO.

I think there are plenty of others like Viney and Gawn who's professionalism is the equal of Trac, but whom didn't shop themselves around and didn't seem to air the club's dirty laundry so publicly when the chips have been down for us this season.

No, they're a long term poster who was previously known as AF and Binman's PA.  They just change their name occasionally but same account

Maybe we should let Petracca play for us in a Collingwood jumper, then he could have the best of both worlds,  Could be handy on KBW as long as he doesn't get confused.

Maybe it’s been posted in all the posts but footy classified showed an interview of Trac after he come home from hospital and said how Roffey & the club had reached out & supporting him…

Cap is full and they can't breach
Trade period's in the air
Petracca's out of reach
Gosch's paddock, Casey fields
Trac goes home alone
Driving past the Lexus Centre
When will he call it home?

I can see him standing in the Noosa sun
Pasta on the boil, black and white apron on
You can tell him the Magpie Army's love will still be strong
After the 25 season is done.

Well, at least he’s making an effort to be part of the club. Can’t begrudge him that.

Exactly, if he was simply going to play out the year hoping for a better offer the following season he probably wouldn’t be bothered doing things like going to see the girls play.

Hopefully he is fully invested.

We need to unite and be stronger as a club.

I hope that’s the reason, but the little devil sitting on my right shoulder is telling me that he’s there at the bidding of the club, to project the image of a harmonious club. The little angel on my left shoulder is telling me that he’s looking genuinely happy, enjoying a bit of a laugh with Lever and Max.

Also, as the Dees just scored their first goal, the camera focused on an applauding Brad Green.

We need to bury the hatchet and move on now, otherwise 2025 will amount to nothing.

It's good Trac is there.

Exactly right. If our players can make peace so should the fans.

The worst possible outcome is a fractured club. United we are much stronger.

Just wondering if the President has spoken to Tracc or his family yet.

I heard they are breaking bread and making a Thai Green Curry together.

Stay tuned.
