This just frustrates me. Cats don’t really have any stars in their prime anymore. Sure Danger and Cameron are great but well past their prime.

It’s hard to understand how this team keeps going top 4 other than to think this is all to do with the footy dept.

It’s the nature of this season.

Sides are going to make top 4 who just aren’t at the level of top 4 sides of years past.

I believe this is the first ever season in which all 18 clubs have had a stretch of going 1-4 or worse.

Sydney last week lost by 100.

Port just struggled to put away a bottom 6 side (us).

GWS has lost on expected score for almost every one of their last 6 wins.

Geelong has multiple 10 goal losses and struggled last week against a bottom 4 side.

Brisbane isn’t even in the top 4!

The Hawks are up and comers who are having a "red hot go".

To see them them knock off the baggers would make this weekend almost tolerable.

True, but the weekend hasn't been that bad. C'wood & Essendon lost.  (and we did not get beaten by 100 points as many posters were predicting).

Hawks skills by foot very good. much better than us

I spoke to a few members at the footy last night who said they got an email from the club this week asking their opinion about Wildcard round. Anyone else get this?

hawks not afraid to kick into the corridor and have nailed a couple so far

Carlton are frauds

My god Hawthorn are bloody exciting to watch.

Haw are back

So very depressing…

Far be it from me to approve of Hawthorn being good, but are there any non-Melbourne teams you'd be happy with being good?

No. I have seen far too many enemies win Flags

Carlton about to prove that a premiership needs some luck

Just turned on the footy to see that Carlton are getting humped and Curnow has just hobbled off the ground. As Bruce McAveney might stay. Delicious!

Something that nearly ever member of Demonland likes to ignore.
In a competition this close, luck and especially injury luck, is one of the key factors in winning premierships.

Hawks only 2.4% behind Carlton now. Keep up their rate of scoring and they'll overtake them on the ladder.

It’s amazing how exciting football can be by moving the ball quickly, tackling hard and hitting targets. If only …….

I hate the Hawks

but they are playing blindly footy at the moment. very hard not to admire the way they go about it
