GWS will belt us. Great mix of ages, strong, determined and hungry. We look old and then too young, unfit and not up to it. The vibe of GWS is awesome

A driving tackle with arms pinned breaking a collarbone is not a free if perpetrated by a filth player.

I don’t think we’re getting anywhere near both of these teams this year.

Not unless injuries stop happening and Petty and McAdam start playing well. I’m wondering if we’ve totally changed our plan for this year. Scrounge as many wins as possible in the first half, lock down best 23 and come hard in the second half. Fullerton very important to us…..can he actually play?

Hogan.

Yes, we bemoan losing Hogan, but without May we don’t win the ‘21 flag.

Hogan has been moved on from 2 clubs for a reason but I’m glad his attitude has changed and he’s doing well now with gws. Very talented player.

Why does this thread always turn into  MFC player and coach bashing?

Some avoid the postgame threads after a loss and come on here to talk about other games specifically.

You watching this Goody?

That’s how you move the ball Goody.

Why didn’t we recruit this tall bloke?

Mason Cox has not had one disposal.

What an absolute Goose.

When he ran through the GWS boys warming up it sorta reminded me of when Dermie did something similar to Essendon.

Cox isn’t even fit to shine Dermies boots.

There's no karma in footy. The only way it'd be equal karma is if m*****d was one on one in the backline and we were 3 points down with 10 seconds left and he did his knee and we kicked the winning goal by running past him helpless on the ground. In the grand final. Then I'd believe karma exists in footy again.

MFCSS is out of control after any loss. Quite ridiculous really.

Agree. Every thread ends up being the same. As a result I find myself engaging less with this site - which is a shame.

I would rather it was a legitimate shirtfront that took him out. But is there such a thing anymore? Oh sorry think it’s a No, unless you are executing a flying smother, front on at high speed and turning your shoulder 90 degrees to maximise the damage at impact.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

A couple of intrepid Demonland Trackwatchers headed down to Gosch's Paddock for the midweek Preseason Training Session to bring you the following observations. Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
