No I don't believe so. That's why I've suggested they should just run with a panel who makes the decisions, no tribunal or anything. Once they make a decision it's final. The AFL can do what they want, it's their competition though I'm sure there are certain things built into their constitution or whatever they call it. The tribunal an antiquated system that goes back years to the time where there was no TV, so the people who witnessed things had to sit down and argue the facts. We have  cameras now on every instance so I don't understand why it is needed.

Looking at the replay of the Lever incident and the rap he is getting, having relaxed his body and bounced his head in the action. 

Motorbike pins Lever's arms, lifts his legs off the ground, slings his body round so as to get momentum and drives, as his head bounces off the ground. Lever was focused on the faux handball attempt, so he doesn't get freed against.

I am amazed by some commentary that Lever, made it easy and exaggerated the look of it.

Wow, then Dunkley gets a take on the matter, victim blaming.

The Lions are really building the MFC hate towards them.

Exactly.

Money is king is the AFLs core value.

As life long football fan i have no sense that the AFL consider or prioritise the views of the key stakeholders - us.

The only time they do is as if those views relate to their money is king mantra, that's to say will we stop spening money on the 'product'.

Can’t wait until the day when the AFL has to try and defend itself (and it’s joke of a tribunal decision making processes) against aggrieved former / current players in a real court of law. It’s just a matter of time.

And digging a bit deeper, closer inspection of the 3rd quarter triumph in 2021 shows that Trac's miracle goal in the 3rd was enabled by a brilliant shepherd on Dunkley by ......KOZZIE PICKETT around the back of the pack.

That makes Kozzie a good bloke in my book and Dunkley jsut a sook as your indicate Daisy.

I've noticed many tacklers show a duty of care and nurse the player to the turf.

Motorbike continues with aggression all the way through his tackle against Lever, and the AFL call him the "good guy".

If they are going to go with "good guy" adjudications, then they need stats for positive duty of care actions. These stats could reduce fines and occasionally suspensions. The effect would be that sporting actions may save them money.and so incentivise care to the opponent.

5 prior offences is not a good guy, it’s a recidivist.

Sparrow copped a week for a much softer sling. Obviously not a good guy.

I have never liked Gleeson’s findings and reasons, that change continuously.

Racing Victoria was widely criticised for it’s handling of the long running matter.

2. Independent Commissioner for the ‘Melbourne Response’. A scheme set up by the Catholic archdiocese to compensate victims of sexual abuse. 
The Melbourne Response was “criticised by the Royal Commission”

Oh, and allegedly he is a Collingwood supporter.

i would enjoy having maynard on the stand under oath and asking if he intended to hurt people during that game and if he did all he could to exercise his duty of care to other players

He's probably told himself this and convinced himself it's true so he can live with the fact he ended a blokes career and one who I think he knows relatively well.

Yep, Tim Watson at the end of this clip going soft on Cameron and the AFL by saying Lever might have jumped off the ground and deliberately drove his own head into the ground....

Experienced player averaging 30 possies, gone in first few minutes, replaced by a rookie player who got a few meaningless possies.

Players in shock for at least a quarter.

One fresh player down for nearly the whole game.

We lost by 7 points.

Yes you could argue strongly that hit cost us the game and possibly a flag. Most thought the winner of that game would win the flag.
