Well here we are

0-7

Nasty indeed

There coud not be a worse time to face the best team in the comp on their home turf. But atleast the spirit is there. We are having a dip. Players are starting to return from injury. Davey is in fine form. Sylvia is arriving. Dunn is showing what he is capable of.

But boy are the Eagles good

Judd. Kerr. Cox. Hunter. Wirrpunda. Glass. So many great players. So well coached.

The feeling around town is that the winless Demons could pull off a big upset over in the West.

But lets be realistic.

West Coast are West Coast. Melbourne are Melbourne.

This game is going to get ugly. The Demons will be within 5 goals at 3 quarter time, before the likes of Judd and Kerr run riot.

West Coast will pile on 11 goals to 1 in the final stanza. And will waltz home by a lazy 92 points.

I actually thought Melbourne would go alright this week, but you make so many valid points. You've convinced me. I think you might be on the money this week Y_M.

Although West Coast don't tend to smash teams too often by massive margins.

What an absolute crock Y_M.

I have it on good authority that on Robbo's return this week, he is pencilled in to kick 12.

I have a very reliable source telling me that Judd has gathered the Eagles' leadership group and put a very emotional plea to let his future club win their first game for the season.

Kerr has decided to pull out with some 'soreness' and Judd will 'limp' off after the first bounce, not to return for the rest of the day.

As far as I understand it, Cox was thrilled to see PJ's 'coming of age' game last week, and he promised Judd to 'coach' PJ throughout the 4 quarters. I've been told that PJ will take 16 contested marks and kick 4 goals for best on field performance.

Bate is set to star with 43 possessions and our goal to goal line delivery will be the quickest recorded in AFL history.

Apparently an Eagles club email has gone out to all members asking that they don't show up, to give the Demons a 'home game advantage'.

The entire Eagles club is behind Judd's plea to give the Demons every advantage possible on the day, to win their first game of the year.

Everyone here at Demonland should relax and feel confident for the weekend.

It's a guaranteed win.

Word around town is that a B-double of 35,000 Melbourne jumpers personally signed by Paul Johnson left the MCG this morning after massive orders in the west. It'll be a sea of red and blue on Sunday.

I hear Judd wants to thump us by 150 points so we can offer the eagles a good draft pick for his trade to the Dees.

well you heard wrong.

My source is very very reliable.

Fire Up and Kick Back.

If Judd has his way, the Demons will win and win comfortably.

You'd have Warnock, Ward and Godfrey in a winnable side over Moloney?????????????

Well, if the great Y_M thinks we'll lose, we're an absolute certainty to win.

NO Jaded, we'll win coz I have a very very reliable source that says we'll win.

Geez, I don't understand why people here aren't taking my very very reliable source seriously!

Moloney is the better player without a doubt. If McLean was to play I think Moloney will miss. He is not right.

If McLean doesn't get up, Moloney will be selected.

2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury.
