Strangely enough we are still in it. Geelong looked like they were tiring out but have we got enough to overcome them. To me the dees look like they have lost the hunger.

Same as last week, set up to defend but find themselves in between nothing. At least defenders seem to be in front but this week the ball is getting over them. The one wood is kick to our 1 tall down the line. Defended by 3 apponants. Our smalls just watching and not even playing the game.
I hope they start chipping it side ways then over the top of that 30 m wall. To Bannan. I thinks she’s still there?

its only 19 points. So definitley possible 5 weeks ago.

How come both finals which we have been the home team for have been at a neutral venue?

Roos I can somewhat understand being at IKON, but if the Cats were the home team this would’ve been played at KP. Why haven’t we had one of our home finals out at Casey?

Clear HTB not paid ends up in a goal. Thanks ump.

No tall on the line.

Birch not within a mile of Parry.

Just a joke

must be the jumper. familiar territory. no soft free kicks for demons. geelong taking opportunities

The amount of blind panic in every disposal is just shocking.

HQ be happy. Their 2 fave original teams v expansion teams next week.

Stinnear - like Goody - where’s plan B??? Kick to contest. Thats it?  We get closed down but nothing changes. Get Banno up into the midfield!!!

when it aint happening >it aint happening

Physically or mentally? Looks fine physically but makes so many lazy errors

If you told me there was a level of discontent/disharmony amongst the players, I don't think I'd be shocked. Something very wrong here surely.

She’s not even 50%.  Really disappointing season this year compared with last year.

I honestly can't see what Ivey and Bannon contribute that we couldn't get from two witches hats.

This is utterly disgusting. The midfield haven’t really got near it for 5 weeks. The defensive intensity is completely non existent. Some soft kills early this season camouflaged a fair few holes. Time for a list refresh and to prioritise a strong inside mid because other than Hanks they’ve all gone backwards this year.

Maybe don't get beat up in a boxing match

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
