Ump job #1 - Keep the ch7 live games close.

job #2 - Favour the teams the AFL wants to win

job #3 - Be as inconsistent as possible.

Has played on two top tier FBs the last two weeks.

Still, 3 goals from 3 finals. As a neutral watcher I expected more from Charlie.

8 arcs in a row to Carlton.

Last one called a goal and arc said it touched the hair of Acres. Seriously?

This arc is changing results of games and we certainly know it.

Acres and his mate in the ARC have given us a new definition of ‘fringe player’.

These sort of comments are uninformed. Look at Essendon after 2000. Look at Geelong and Fremantle this year. There’s absolutely no guarantees in this game.

We will be playing Carlton first Game next year ask Goyder

The call last night where the arc concluded it touched his hair was bizarre.

Gil's work for sure.

There is no AFL or MCC reserve at the Gabba.

Brisbane has something like 50,000 members. They could sell out the Gabba very easily.

Has to be a please explain. Just has to be. It was completely unprecedented.

Remember when that Geelong guy wanted their 2009 NAB Cup on one arm and the 2009 premiership on the other arm and the artist ended up tattooing 'Left arm' and 'Right arm'

It is beyond ridiculous - before the AFL decided that it was essential that Carlton play and win finals the umpires call was irreversible unless there was clear evidence to the contrary

Well that went flying out the door quick and remarkably it always seems to favour CFC

Hopefully there will be a system next season that is not so easily manipulated

And their aura of entitlement is a large one.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
