I’m happy to admit I’m on the Giants train and will pleased if they snag this years flag.

Their game is so good to watch - wish it was red and blue guernseys.

With you 100%.

Also, Hogan was "ill disciplined" but we're about to recruit McAdam and recruited Hunger lol

I know we got good value for all of them but gee whiz, you can't ignore the common denominator of forwards wanting to leave.

and Hogan smashed it at Freo didn’t he?

the kid wasn’t right and wanted to leave.

zero blame on the club

Port are lucky to only be 6 goals down.

Yes, Giants are on a Demons scoring streak, keeping Port in the game, just about.

There's a lot of criticism about Goodwin but I don't think anyone here is crazy enough to think he should be sacked.

Hinkley definitely shouldn't have lasted as soon as he has.

I’ve been iffy on Goodwin for a while. I think the club needs really clear hurdles for any extension beyond the current one.

I think we start with some fresh voices underneath him though and see what happens

Can’t afford to wait too long unless one is confident of finding the next Oliver and tracc

A GWS V Brisbane GF would be an amazing outcome for humanity.

Humanity needs a break from evil.
The world cannot survive a Pies or Blues flag.

GWS is one class above PA. In my view, I consider Pies, PA, and Syd to be on a similar level, while Melb, Carlton and Bris are better than them. GWS should beat the Pies comfortably next week, and the umpires won't be able to help the Pies much. I wouldn't be surprised if GWS won the Premiership.

Correct had social behaviour issues and would always be a risk ..  maybe the Penny dropped at gws non football state etc .. you can imagine the if he did come back and went of track, posters would say why dud we get him back!

I know Goody maybe feeling it right now but this is a summary of Hinkleys finals record with Port:

2014 - 10-1 and two games clear on top of the ladder after Round 12, didn't even make top 4.
2020 - On top of the ladder literally every round of the home and away season, lost home prelim.
2021 - Lost home prelim by 71 points against injury hit fifth placed team who went on to get smacked by 12 goals in the Grand Final.
2023 - Three games clear in the top 2 with seven rounds to go. Won't even make a prelim.

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
