Love Ticketek saying anywhere on Level 2 MCC full and no 3 seats.

Then go to seat change and put in the N42 option and bam got three. Nearly gave up and went for Level 4!

Best of luck to all you other Demonlanders today!

You must have had a 50 year member barcode? I got the same and visitor tickets in N42 as well as 11 in N41. Was a successful morning.

Got through to the first stage where you select your access type but obviously club members isn't open yet, is this good or bad? Should i go back into the queue?

It will lock you out after 10 minutes and you'll have to go back in that queue again

No point trying to get in until 9:55 so if you do get in early you have 5 minutes to wait for members tickets to go on sale, and 5 minutes to finish buying the tickets.

Yep, booking for myself, Dad and Godfather. It’s amazing that it doesn’t auto allocate you to N42?? That must have been why I stuffed up our seats for the Filth game…🤦🏻‍♂️

Been sitting tight for about 40 minutes now.

Then it crashed on me, now back in the queue probably with all the 10am members.

Fun way to start the week

There isn't really a queue - its random selection.

Well the computer has randomly decided it hates me then!

MCC visitor tickets not even an option. Pathetic system for a dad to take his daughter to the game.

Anyone else having issues with the site just crashing?

I'm not an MCC member so have no skin in the game, but surely actual members should get priority to visitors tickets for big matches like this?

They were an option but they sold out very quickly against Collingwood and would have again today

I crashed first 4 times.

After that let me in. Got N11.

Thank goodness this is the last time we have to do this this year.

No chance I am going to Brisbane next week, and we don't need to do this for the GF.

Got lucky. It let me in at 9:56 so just had to wait until 10 on the dot and then entered barcodes. Five of us in M30. COYBIRB!

Well the dance has commenced for the last time in 2023 for me. After this week's game I will be on holidays in the warmer north.

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.
