Mentioned on 9 news he still isnโ€™t training and racing the clock to be fit. Reporter was fathead Maguires fathead son, so read into that what you will.

Hopefully he is on the track tomorrow.

He was down at Box Hill yesterday watching Casey and wasn't wearing a moonboot and at all and looked fine.

Scored 3 goals and a few behinds as I recall.

Good to see youโ€™re finally on the job full time.

Uhmโ€ฆ I do have things other than Frittaโ€™s frigginโ€™ foot on my mind, you know. Right now Iโ€™m messaging back  and forth with Mrs Frittata and you know what weโ€™re talking about? Clue: NOT Frittaโ€™s frigginโ€™ foot, thatโ€™s what! In fact, Iโ€™m happy to talk to her about anything other than Frittaโ€™s frigginโ€™ foot. K? K.

It died a quick and painless death on page one. Rigor mortis set in โ€˜round about page two. Decomposition started at page three and now itโ€™s really stinking to high heavens. Letโ€™s bury it, and only resurrect it should something terrible happen to Frittaโ€™s frigginโ€™ foot. ๐Ÿฆถ

To her, or to Frittaโ€™s foot?

Incidentally, sheโ€™s laid up with a broken leg. When I tell her that folks are ageing at the rate of knots over concerns about Frittaโ€™s foot she says โ€œnever mind him. Heโ€™s fine. What about my broken leg?โ€ And I say, โ€œIโ€™m sorry, chopped liver. No oneโ€™s sweating on you to kick goals this Thursday.โ€ ๐Ÿ˜

To her, I hope she recovers well and is up and about soon...

...and of course a few goals on Thursday from Fritta would be more than nice

Iโ€™ll pass on your message. ๐Ÿ’–

Sitting around not able to do much is driving her insane. I donโ€™t even bother to ask about Bayley, he just happens to be her son and right now thereโ€™s nothing really to talk about re him. And whenever I see him I donโ€™t ask him about his foot because I also have a broken foot and he never asks me about mine. ๐Ÿคฃ

Love it...very funny.

I believe so. I canโ€™t imagine Clint (Stanaway) would tweet something so โ€œsecretiveโ€ when everyone knows his dad works closely with the players, and expect to go unnoticed. This begs the questionโ€ฆ wonโ€™t Collingwood know theyโ€™re related and therefore know this is subterfuge? Who knows. Thatโ€™s my take on it, anyways.

This time next week the Fritatta will be looking to kick a hatful again, as @layzie would say. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝโค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

With all due respect, I'm not sure many of the pies fans would realise they're related to their own wives.

@Demonland Andy, please could we rename the thread, โ€˜Bailey is fineโ€™, fair dinkum it ages me seeing it with new posts. When there is something to worry about, then adjust accordingly so that I can hyperventilate as required.

Pro-Pies media really are [censored] themselves at the prospect of what is coming.

Yes, played on Moore and was excellent, mucked up their defence and got offensive.

yeah, they can't find a picture of a moon boot, they can't see him at the vfl game with no boot but they write stories about his "injury" threatening his availability to play.  really on the ball.

Come on WCW you've had that broken foot for about 5 months, slow healer ?

Eddy and son fill up the camera nicely.  Eddys son looks like a cross between Eddy and Darcy Moore.

Nine months actually.

I donโ€™t have the luxury of a team of medical experts to hasten the healing progress. Allโ€™s Iโ€™ve got is a GP who told me to โ€œkeep the weight off it til itโ€™s healed.โ€ Uhm, reality check, Doc. ๐Ÿ˜

I didnโ€™t have my foot X-rayed until two months after I broke it. My Doc said, โ€œyou must have a high pain tolerance.โ€ I said, โ€œclearly I do, Iโ€™m a Melbourne supporter.โ€ She looked at me in silence, smiled and nodded politely and had nfi what I was on about. ๐Ÿ˜†

  • REPORT: Richmond

The fans who turned up to the MCG for Melbourneโ€™s Anzac Day Eve clash against Richmond would have been disappointed if they turned up to see a great spectacle. As much as this was a night for the 71,635 in attendance to commemorate heroes of the nationโ€™s past wars, it was also a time for the Melbourne Football Club to consolidate upon its first win after a horrific start to the 2025 season. On this basis, despite the fact that it was an uninspiring and dour struggle for most of its 100 minutes, the night will be one for the fans to remember. They certainly got value out of the pre match activity honouring those who fought for their country. The MCG and the lights of the city as backdrop was made for nights such as these and, in my view, we received a more inspirational ceremony of Anzac culture than others both here and elsewhere around the country.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The match up of teams competing in our great Aussie game at its second highest level is a rarity for a work day Thursday morning but the blustery conditions that met the players at a windswept Casey Fields was something far more commonplace. They turned the opening stanza between the Casey Demons and a somewhat depleted Richmond VFL into a mess of fumbling unforced errors, spilt marks and wasted opportunities for both sides but they did set up a significant win for the home team which is exactly what transpired on this Anzac Day round opener. Casey opened up strong against the breeze with the first goal to Aidan Johnson, the Tigers quickly responded and the game degenerated into a defensive slog and the teams were level when the first siren sounded.
