I was mistaken, DD. So sorry for any confusion. We’ll be at the Punt Rd end in M3 where we sit for home games. This is a Collingwood home game but I forgot that they love their City end Bay (M33) regardless of whose home game it is. And we don’t wanna upset the Magpies cheer squad now, do we? 😁

No ....they'll have enough to cry, sook, whinge about ;)

Moore will come in for Frampton which then leaves JVR to take their next best defender and that's Jeremy Howe..

What a gold match up! Howe hates body contact and prefers to sit off and fly for a mark. I'd back JVR to easily put body Howe in a one on one contest.

But is Jeremy going to back...or stay forward ???

Tbh... id take an 80% 21 ver Tmac..   that will do...any better a bonus.

He knows what he's doing out there.

....and he can kick .....that sorta helps a bit lol

Fritta,Jvr,  Bbb, Milk and all TMac are all good kicks.

Even Sam Edmond is jumping on the Grundy bandwagon and suggesting he is as good as gone to Port or Swans.  Where do they get all these rumours or is it all click bait.

Surely Grundy is a required player. Gawn could get injured in the QF especially if that yank slams his knee into him.

Likely Collingwood line-up IMO:

B: Quaynor Moore Howe
HB: Maynard Murphy Noble
C: J.Daicos Pendlebury Sidebottom
R: Cameron DeGoey Mitchell
HF: McCreery McStay WHE/Lipinski
F: Hill Mihocek Elliott
I: Cox Crisp Adams Ginnivan
S: Markov

In: Moore Murphy McCreery
Out: Frampton Markov WHE/Lipinski

Hard to know if McCreery replaces WHE or Lipinski. Could even be Ginnivan.

Howe may play forward or swing.

Has there been enough conversation for the last month, both from the supporters here and in the media for you to be persuaded that Brodie may be leaving? It'd be weird for these things to be spoken about if there wasn't an element of deliberation...don't you think?

Unfortunately, the North VFL team were witches hats, so 5 goals isn't really a true reflection of where he's at. Hope I'm wrong though

Agree

The North game was unlike any MFC or Casey game you might see. It was played mainly in that area we generally abhore.. The corridor. North had innumerable turnovers (Casey had a few) leading to good forward 50 entries with players (wait for it)... dropping their eyes and delivering to the advantage of the forwards

Yes, these imaginary people are despicable. If it weren’t for the fact that they may, or may not, exist - I would be throwing haymakers down at Nick’s.

Been traumatised by horrible Collingwood supporters in the past.

They still give me nightmares! 😱

These journos are imbeciles.

For a start Port has no picks. They have 37 and 42. Last year they traded their 1st, 2nd and 3rd round for JHF.

does he though ??  just asking..  Moore and Murphy to come back in  ( more than likely...npi )  possibly releases  Howe to go forward again ?  Collingwood will want as much aerial competency agaisnt the likes of Lever and May .....  it's just a line of thinking  :)

They will go back to way they started the season with Howe in the backline, they will go with pace on the forward line.

With Petty and Melk out who will they bring in probably Tmac and he ain't quick and that will leave 3 taller marking forwards which would suit Moore, Howe and co the smart play would be to get our forwards to take moore and howe away from the ball and allow the small forwards to impact the game, I would also have kossie and Tmac don't leave the 30 metre arc.

Tmac  COULD play out of the square...but we havent played a stay at home since....well..some whiles back now. My observations...  so take with a tiptruck of salt...  Tom plays well often when playing high up as a forward...  In a similar vein to what Milky did ...i.e become that link player...  ball off the HB...to a winger to a Half Forward...  Tom plays that Half forward role well as he is both a good kick and a faily smart judge of where to put it..  He can also play at the sharp end and CAN take a strong pack mark...Just depends on where the ball is and whos had it etc..

I havent watched him in the magoos so anyone who has what has been his forte there ??

Oops, thought the Grundy bandwagon might have been him playing in this game.

Yes you can do that but and play smith back but my concern is tmac is not quick anymore and Pies backline are fairly quick so keeping him closer to goal takes one pie link up player away from the action plus it allows him leading room with a small forward close, just like Elliot and ginnivan do.

I can see Smith playing a defensive roll on Moore he is perfect for it.

Smith and Fritta both played on Moore last time and Fritta had 6 scoring shots.

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
