The AFL have asked me to compile the best teams of all time from these two zones.

Which do you think is superior?  Compare the pair ...

Could any other State produce such strong sides?

Brayan Brook?

It needs more Western Suburb representation

Vic Country: Couldn't find a place for Long Wood? Or is he already in there and Long Wood is his adult-movie name?

Suggestions welcome!  Brayanbrook is not a suburb by the way.  :D

Glen Waverley goes all right on the HBF

What about Bri Ton?

Bri Ghton? (It’s a silent ‘Gh’ - Welsh ancestry 😉

Ivan Hoe could play on anyone and in any position really.

Al Banvale is a handy ruckman

Fraser Rise is an up-and-comer

Warran Dyte is an outside mid

Its a pity Heather Dale doesn't have a brother!

Not a suburb.

It's 'a way of life '

Disclaimer: TRIGON is not from Brighton, nor is he/she/ze paid to represent this suburb.

It's a shame I couldn't fit more players in.

Jack Assflat just missed the cut and that's a bummer because he always had a crack and gave some cheek.

Mary Burra will be a star in the AFLW Country side.

Have a look at the AFLW Board, WJ.  Mary Borough has made the team!

AFLW Katae Matite, a drinking problem or just plain boastful?

Club President: Craig E. Burn

Doesn't qualify.  The suburb is Craigieburn.

edit:  Craig I. Eburn would work.

I guess that rules out Abe R. Feldie then.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
