Even when Channel 7 is talking about what Geelong has done well they paraphrase it by saying ‘which Collingwood have now stopped’.

Is their supporter base that huge that games can only be seen though their lens? It’s just weird.

Collingwood got their game back in order that 2nd quarter.

They set themselves up well off half back from the likes of Maynard, Quaynor, Noble who gave them great drive in waves.

Game could go either way.

220 pressure index for q2 by Pies. That is literally off the charts.

Hard to seem them sustain that throughout the game.

Unless they’ve been loading

My guess is they got given a serve by Fly after yet another poor quarter and they relied.
They’re lucky they are playing a side that’s as cooked as yesterday’s dinner. They should absolutely run Geelong off the field in the second half.

They should.

Yes the pies pressure was better that quarter, as was their run, but to my eye, they still didn't look to be running over the ground like they were pre bye. The cats lack of speed flattered them

Even if they go on to win, it will be fascinating to see if the pies can really run out this game the way we have been in the last three games.

The pies do not want anymore injuries that's for sure.

Stop taking mushrooms and commentating BT

Poor BT must have something deep in his past memory some association between mushrooms and bull 💩 … but can’t correlate properly, and doesn’t realize that he is speaking it.

I agree. They’re playing a side that is old, hammered by injuries and generally very slow.
They are also getting really smashed in the ruck. Stanley is a horrible horrible ruckman and getting smashed by a very average ruckman in return.

Terrible bounce advantaging Pies not called back.

That’s the real reason they should be made to throw it up, they now just call it back when it goes outside the circle but that one was basically a clearance to collingwood - peanuts

Shannon Neale looks like Clark Kent

De Goey off again.  God I hope you’re really really hurt. I hate wishing injury on players. But you’re not a player, you’re a filthy piece of trash.

The way the pies push up so high defensively just exposes them.time and time again.

Imagine if Geelong had Hawkins and Rohan wasn’t subbed off.

Can Geelong still make it if they lose?

Love them to finish 9th

Geelong are like Mushrooms

keep them the dark and feed them [censored]

  • THE STATS FILES: St. Kilda

As part of the effort to trim the runtime of the regular podcast, we’ve been looking at which segments could be reshaped without losing what makes them valuable. One segment that naturally came into focus was Binman’s Stats Files. Not because it isn’t important; quite the opposite. It’s become such a substantial and much-loved part of the show that it deserves a little room to breathe.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourne’s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last year’s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although it’s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sunday’s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to fool’s gold.
