Fascinating - deliberately having a higher handball to kick ratio than any other game since round 8…

foxing?

Coleman is killing us. Put Pickett on him.

[censored] go at the ball kozzie!!!!

And one more time we kick it to the trailing Brisbane player. For Christ sake Melbourne fix that [censored] up

Gus laid a tackle and then watched his opponent just run away??? WTF?

Lachie Hunter watching that little Ashcroft mark the ball uncontested...😠

So hard to get a read on this game

We have a lot of passengers

Long night ahead of us, gonna be plenty of scoring the way it's shaping up, just hope we're in front at the end.

A goal and a couple of assists

But can he please stop the turnovers? Sometimes he can kill momentum, he is a link player.

He doesn’t do that.

Zorko starting a fight and walking away. Classic coward troll behavior. I would pay good money to see someone run through him.

Soft team

What about marking man on man when they have back 50 ball Goody … it’s not rocket science how they walk out and score all there goals.

Marking grass is STUPIDITY!!!

I think we're playing into the Lions' hands here. They're basically just sweating on our turnovers and killing us on the rebound. The onus is on Melbourne to get possession and then keep possession. Fail to do that under the Lions' pressure in the 2nd half and we'll lose.

It’s Game Day and the Demons have made the long trip west to take on Fremantle tonight at Optus Stadium. Can Melbourne make it two from two to start the season, and what are you hoping to see from the Dees under the lights in Perth?

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.
