Well, by Demonland logic Geelong must have fluked last years Premiership?

They fluked it far more than we did*
If Pies don’t go down to Sydney by a point in the prelim, I reckon Cats don’t win it.

*there is no such thing as a fluked flag ffs

Hard to believe that we could still be fourth after the weekend.

Need something special from GC!

Also a Richmond upset and Crom defeating Brisbane at home would be greatly appreciated.

Lots of sliding door moments. Luck, avoiding injuries, building momentum etc will be decisive in second half of season. We are not there yet. Last season Collingwood rode their luck with winning all their close finishes in regular season but 2 close losses  killed their finals campaign. Their game was matched in heated finals pressure.

Hogan just took a really good mark

he would have made a wonderful transitional forward for us as I tried to explain last year. Laughed at by many but tell me who is better Hogan or TMac

Just watching a bit of GC$ v Dogs just why (for one of hundreds of reasons) there must never be a Darwin based team.    Just never suitable for AFL winter footy.
(And if they did any guesses how often Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon Geelong would ever have to go there?)
Of course Gil or Dill May say yes if they have a billion dollar taxpayer funded covered air conditioned stadium.

Yes.  But, Tom is a MFC player and as such deserves support of all true Demon fans, regardless of his current limitations.   It is not a choice we have.

If there was ever a team based out of Darwin, I could understand the AFL demanding a stadium with a roof. Not so much Hobart.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
