Cerrra a chance to get suspended with that sling tackle on Hickey?

Head hit turf.

Blues will appeal, Gleeson will mistake Hickey for Sideshow Bob and the charges will be dismissed.

This game is like a really bad Xmas present that stinks but you have to be polite.

Terrible game of football. But also very satisfying viewing in watching Carlton lose.

Blues don't have an extra gear in crunch time

So my big take away from this game is that we should have a Didgeridoo player after goals in Doug Nichols round.

The rest of the game can get in the bin.

Channel 7 would be freaking out at this low scoring mess

It’s all the same no matter the animal. I’m more of a *BBB than a Tmac.

True but also not having a bench is really starting to show imo, they just look a step or two slower than Sydney at the moment.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
