Kozzie you fly over and over for high marks & you have never marked one.

Just stay down & crumb

Beaten in the air, on the ground, in the ruck, down back. A really poor performance

Hunter needs a week off

he's running harder than most

by that logic you'd drop oliver, too

This quarter alone has been such a let down, I expected a fierce response and it didn't happen.

Problem is we never learn our lessons and drink our own bath water too much.

These players were premiership players only 2 years ago.

Today they look like the old Melbourne team

JJ down over the ball and cleaned up high but apparently the bombers player wanted it more?

Not a single bounce has gone our way. Forget it and move on.

Should have put Gus on the middle earlier in the game when Oliver was being beaten.

Gus was doing the first ever good defensive job of his life down back on Stringer. Tracc, Viney and the other mids had to lift

It's worst than that. It exposes our fwd line issues. Having Max back will help but unless Bbb stars for the rest of the year we are in trouble.

Exposes everything fwd back and mid

Melksham you are a bloody disgrace.

This should’ve been a percentage building win against a loser club. Instead we’ve [censored] the bed and no one is putting their hand up to try and stem the tide. This has been a game lost by poor leadership and laziness. Our worst loss since 2019-2020.

The zero response is deafening.

The whole group needs to have a good look at themselves. Folded like a cheap suit tonight.

Classic Melkdumb, use your preferred foot

Look it's a bad performance but people need to get a grip.

Collingwood lost to West Coast's seconds last year.

Geelong were 3-2 after 5 rounds and 4-3 after 7 last year.

Richmond similar in 2019.

60% inside efficiency for Essendon is disgusting. That is terrible for the best defence in the league.

It's Game Day on Friday night. ANZAC Eve. The big stage at the ‘G. The Demons return to the spotlight for one of our most significant nights on the football calendar, taking on the Tigers in a clash that always carries extra weight given the gravity of occasion of the commemoration of the ANZAC Spirit. Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? All the build-up, discussion, and in-game reactions here. Go Dees.

Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

  • REPORT: Brisbane

Before Sunday, the last time the Brisbane Lions had walked onto the turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, they celebrated the pinnacle of the sport - an AFL premiership secured in emphatic fashion for the second consecutive year.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
