dee-tox 4,835 Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 Brayshaw's commentary in this game was generally excellent. A stark contrast to Taylor who was hyperbolic and made error after error. Classics like bang, bang, bang, bang and It's falling the way of the Demons will be remembered for a long time. 10 Quote

Mazer Rackham 14,972 Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 I have always regarded James Brayshaw as an astute judge of all things football and any comments apparently made by me to the contrary weren't really because my account was hacked. 2 11 Quote

AzzKikA 2,371 Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 I reckon JB has had a soft spot for us ever since Gus was drafted. Rarely says a bad word against us. 3 1 Quote
DEE fence 5,054 Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 Yes for some reason I find this comment of JB less annoying than most. 2 Quote

As much as these two drive me nuts I thought their call was really on point that night. Then again any call would have probably sounded good in that game. Quote
loges 6,767 Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 His main fault, he always sounds very happy with himself. Quote
Bring-Back-Powell 15,548 Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 Apparently his second favourite was Geelong V Sydney last year. 1 Quote
Queanbeyan Demon 7,023 Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 (edited) In my era, not a more pure style of footy played in a granny. Maybe a couple of equals (e.g. Jeelong in '07, ArmageDON in '84, Carlscum in '70), but I don't think anything better. And it was US. Brings a tear to my eye still. The MFC just showcased a 150 year old game in its great glory. And they can never take that way from us. 40 minutes of pure transcendence actually. Orion 332 Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 The bang, bang, bang in the third quarter has never been seen in a Grand Final 1 Quote

I loved the way a couple of times her comments on the game put BT in his place! 2 Quote
Little Goffy 14,963 Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 BREAKING; Kane Cornes reveals James Brayshaw might consider changing his favourite grand final to 2002 Bris v Coll in exchange for Andy Maher not nominating Ben Cousins' Richmond debut as his favourite hamstring injury. Discussions ongoing but Maher holding firm. 1 Quote
