The only mistake Clarry made was not telling the journos to [censored] off when they door stopped him. They ain’t his friend.

can’t wait to see him back in action soon.

I'm confused.

Which posts led you to that conclusion ie bombshell?

Look, I could care less to be honest.

My point was that he comes across as a merchant banker and provides zero useful information. In fact provides more confusion.

The two people asking questions are just doing their job.

Again, why stop and take questions if he didn't want to answer any and was just going to be unnecessarily rude?

If you don't like talking about your hammy  or to the media, don't. It wasn't a club organised thing. He is the one who chose to stop and take questions.

Anyway, as I said I could care less.

I think you mean you couldn’t care less.

I’m not sure if ignoring the journos would have helped. After what he copped for the argument with the doctor, imagine if he did a “no comment” or acted like he didn’t want to talk. Just as bad, if not worse.

Watching the interview, i can't understand the fuss here. He wasn't rude or arrogant, he was saying it as it is - he needed to get through training and hoped he could play.

What if he means the scope for caring less is very high and hasn't even scratched the surface with his 'low care' potential for this particular issue?

Paging @Demonstone and @WalkingCivilWar for a grammar check..

Edit: Not for my post.

It wouldn't allow me to register a new name with the apostrophe. Trust me, it made me cry.

Bin, I think you're looking into this far too deeply and carrying on a bit.

Fair criticism.

I plead guilty to making a mountain out of mole hill.

But next time clarry, keep walking and mumble something like not today fellas.

No harm, no foul.

And no report on channel 9 or content for 360.

Not actually sure which term is correct.

try "care factor, zero"

Reckon you can’t have the arrogance of taking on the Tiges in a shootout without the “arrogance” of Clarry being fed up he hasn’t been there for 11 weeks.

He’s a competitive beast that’s been chained up for a loooong time now.

Serious? He is not even competing.. Just a walking witches hat. They are silly rushing him back for the Cats game as they know how important it is to have form.

A hard draw does silly things to teams. He should be rested at least a week otherwise he is a liability to the team and himself.

Im not invested either way, but that footage is not conclusive to me in anyway. I mean Clarry was running a day after his hammy too and now 10 weeks later...we are still waiting.

He actually looks in pain to me. Whatever floats their boat. I'd be resting him for at least a week to make sure.

I hope it all blows up in their face. All of it. Every single thing.

  • WHAT’S NEXT? by The Oracle

What’s next for a beleagured Melbourne Football Club down in form and confidence, facing  intense criticism and disapproval over some underwhelming recent performances and in the midst of a four game losing streak? Why, it’s Adelaide which boasts the best percentage in the AFL and has won six of its last seven games. The Crows are hot and not only that, the game is at the Adelaide Oval; yet another away fixture and the third in a row at a venue outside of Victoria. One of the problems the Demons have these days is that they rarely have the luxury of true home ground advantage, something they have enjoyed just once since mid April.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

From the start, Melbourne’s performance against the Gold Coast Suns at Peoples First Stadium was nothing short of a massive botch up and it came down in the first instance to poor preparation. Rather than adequately preparing the team for battle against an opponent potentially on the skids after suffering three consecutive losses, the Demons looking anything but sharp and ready to play in the opening minutes of the game. By way of contrast, the Suns demonstrated a clear sense of purpose and will to win. From the very first bounce of the ball they were back to where they left off earlier in the season in Round Three when the teams met at the MCG. They ran rings around the Demons and finished the game off with a dominant six goal final term. This time, they produced another dominant quarter to start the game, restricting Melbourne to a solitary point to lead by six goals at the first break, by which time, the game was all but over.

  • CASEY: Gold Coast

Coming off four consecutive victories and with a team filled with 17 AFL listed players, the Casey Demons took to their early morning encounter with the lowly Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium with the swagger of a team that thought a win was inevitable. They were smashing it for the first twenty minutes of the game after Tom Fullarton booted the first two goals but they then descended into an abyss of frustrating poor form and lackadaisical effort that saw the swagger and the early arrogance disappear by quarter time when their lead was overtaken by a more intense and committed opponent. The Suns continued to apply the pressure in the second quarter and got out to a three goal lead in mid term before the Demons fought back. A late goal to the home side before the half time bell saw them ten points up at the break and another surge in the third quarter saw them comfortably up with a 23 point lead at the final break.

  • POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast

The Demons did not come to play from the opening bounce and let the Gold Coast kick the first 5 goals of the match. They then outscored the Suns for the next 3 quarters but it was too little too late and their season is now effectively over.
