You lost me at Psychopathic Cowpoke. And pray tell the censored word after “chicken” is not what I think it might be.
Maybe I’ll revisit this album one day when I’m bound and gagged and can’t leave the dungeon, for example.

Bound and Gagged?? Dungeons?? Sounds like the guest suite at Uncle Bitters manor!!😂

Need heaps more information. The band that was playing when? Like at the exact same time as you chose the Dees?

Nah when I was choosing the name I was playing a Gorgoroth album, I was born a Dee. Dad wouldn’t have allowed anything different.

Sigh. Dazzle, Dazzle, Dazzle… you have no idea. Anyone who has to say “Bow before me” is not worthy of having anyone bow before her. It shouldn’t have to be said.

If your Ariel album is playing it’s more like a torture chamber. Soz. Not Soz

Hi Skort. Would that be the same Sophie Lee that played the sax in the band Freaked Out Flower Children? I saw them a couple of times on a Sunday night at the Cherry Tree in Cremorne back in the day. I think she was dating the lead singer, Gumpy, before she dated Mick Molloy.

Correct

A little off-topic I know, but since when has that ever stopped me, amirite?!

One day I got to thinking about how if someone dies suddenly their online contacts may never know. To this end I had a convo with my middle son. I said, “if I was to die suddenly, don’t worry about FB, nor Insta, nor any of the band forums I’ve ever been on, there’s just one thing I want you to do online. I want you to tell my friends on Demonland that I’m dead. You don’t have to create an account, just log in under my account and let them know.”

He said, “so, to be clear… if you die you want me to log into your fan forum, as you, to tell them you’re dead. Okaaay” 😳

So I said “ok then, create your own account for the purpose. You could call yourself SOWCW as in Son Of WCW.” He said, “nah, I’d be Walking Civil Unrest, and he (points to his younger brother) can be Walking Minor Spat.”  😂

Yep, we put the FUN in dysFUNctional!

A bit late to the party here, but there was a case like this I recall not long ago. I am sure others will remember @jazza from a few years back. He and Bitters were famous for slagging each other off in a good-natured manner, especially on the eternal NoT$NoB$ thread. He went very quiet at one point, and it was only through some circuitous means that we found out he had paid his debt to nature, as they say, which was of course some time after the event.

Perhaps every Halloween we should initiate a salute to Demonlanders past?

I remember Jazza.

@markc was another well known Dland poster who we unfortunately lost to illness.

Makes you wonder who else have passed without us even knowing.

All I can say is Jibroni is nothing to do with following the MFC. Maybe it is time for a change.

Straight after winning our GF @Lucifers Herochanged username to Premiers 2021 or similar only to change it back to Lucifer’s Hero as soon as was allowed since many on here (me included) expressed how much we loved the original name. Probs coz many on here (again, me included) love Luci. 💕

What reason for the name Jibroni?

Is it a reference to The Rock?

This is starting to rival that, content-wise.

Fun!

I say, I say, I say, did, good Sir. See my avatar (Slap! 'Nah!')

Am loving the Warner Bros references. Also, I seem to remember Mo Howard expressing displeasure with Curley, Larry or anyone else with “Why You Little…..” or “Hey Wiseguy….” Happy to be corrected.

“Abstemious”???!!! Would love to know the meaning behind that and your current name, BBO.

Some years ago I undertook the "Feb Fast" and went off the [censored] for a (albeit short) month. During that period I was "abstemious". Remarkably , I did the time successfully, despite the shakes and hallucinations I suffered.

BBO well that is a long story.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.
