Unfortunately I canโ€™t see Oskar Baker getting a new deal.
Likely delisting post the trade period ย

Surprised that he was not picked up by another club at the end of last season. Can't see it happening now.ย

Didn't he quit the blues to start an Instagram influencer management company or something?

Unofficial progress so far.

Out: Rosman, Hunt, Bedford, Jackson, Daw*, Brown*

In: Grundy

Would be surprised if we kept Baker meaning we could have up to 4 selections in the draft pending potential trading in of other players and how split or list totals with seniorย  vs rookie numbers.

Rumours are Melksham and Hibberd to get a further year each and Weideman possibly has interest from St Kilda.

I can see why Hibberd and Melksham are getting another year with Hunt and Bedford on the way out.

I do too but gee it would be nice to replace some of the speed lost there.ย

The Tigers delisted four players today -ย Jake Aarts, Riley Collier-Dawkins, Will Martyn and Sydney Stack. Expect a few more clubs to follow including Melbourne which, on my reckoning, needs to delist one more player.

Oskar Baker was let go today so there the one.

Thanks for representing our club Oskar. Wishing you all the best in your future career. You did what many aspire to do but very few achieve, play your chosen sport at the highest level.ย  โค ๐Ÿ’™

Good luck Oskar.
Loved his game v Giants in 2020. Great energy and kicked 2 ripping goals. His pace was good, long kick but his all around game was not quite enough for AFL footy. Was an excellent VFL player and key in Caseyโ€™s premiership. ย

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demonsโ€™ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigersย was building toward that single, unforgettable moment whenย Kozzie Pickettย soared aboveย Campbell Grayย and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026ย Frank โ€˜Checkerโ€™ Hughes Medal.ย
