Wow was not anticipating that, Sydney have been atrocious. I don’t think there out of it yet but they would want to lift their game real quick.

Gotta get Heeney near the ball.

This embarrassing from Sydney. Geelong aren’t this good. They haven’t shown up.

Sorry to say it but Geelong are this good and today at the moment showing that they've been the best side this year.

Heeney hasn’t had a great finals at all.

For Christ sake swans. Pull your collective finger out. This is embarrassing

Bounce of the ball, horrid umpiring (Geelong's way) and some panic play / disposal from the Swans.

Cats the first team to settle following Hawkins 2 goals out of the ruck.

I can't think of one Swan that,'s stood up to be counted so far other than Hayward's finish for goal.

Can they get back?  Will need a heculean effort.  Mids & Seniors will need to play the match of their lives working both ways to pressure the turnovers and get this back to level terms.

The Cats are never out of a contest. The number of times the ball could go out and they fight to keep it alive!

looks over already

Righto. Glad I got my plus 40 bet on. Now turn the tv off and get hammered

Geelong are a good side, but this is embarrassing from Sydney. They are getting smashed at contest. Terrible effort from their midfield.

Sadly reminiscent of 1988 or 2000

LOL Rohan😃

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
