Ya call that a banner?!?!

For this pathetic effort alone they deserve to get comprehensively thrashed.

Maybe it’s the only word they know how to spell?

Would’ve preferred the Pies playing against the Cats today.

Yep. Hate to say it, but you are spot on

Substantially better than Geelong’s but still NOTHING like we would’ve put up.

😂 our DA WhatsApp chat is going nuts. The biggest sook-fest ever. The game’s well underway and we can’t get past the shi*tty banners. 🤣

Sydney lucky to not be further behind.

I always thought Sydney were the best matchup for Geelong but maybe not.

Cats have already scored as many goals as they did in the entire Preliminary Final of last year against us.

But they were really sick remember!

Time to watch the 2021 GF replay

What a Nightmare so far

Sydney have absolutely [censored] the bed all over the ground

Swans one trick ponies. Stand up to their physicality with your own physicality and let the game be decided on talent. Cats doing themsleves proud and Swans being exposed for what they are.

Lets see what they do after the break.

Swans are down to put in [censored] games, but today and not in the quali!!

Wow Sydney look like us at the moment. Just bombing it, can't get a free player & kicking it badly.

Observing Geelong they just set up so well. Players are clean with the ball & just back each other up. It's also nice to see an open forward line where they deliver it properly

They've been spooked the Swans l. They just can't get any string of possessions together. Geelong getting clearances and executing well.

Heeney 0 touches. Mills 4.

you’ve got to stand up early

I predicted the Geelong slaughter of the Lions, and in my heart of hearts, though I wanted Sydney to win, the wilderness voice  said, No Way, it will be another slaughter.

Thank god it’s not us losing like this today to Geelong. I would die.

We wouldn’t though.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
