Reckon we weathered the storm well, settle things down now and let the Casey juggernaut roll on through

Agree, I'll take being 7 points down

I wish Weid could hang on to more marks. He's doing ok in the ruck and around the ground.

Sharks have dominated and we're still right in it.

Go Dees

casey beaten the same way melbourne are - can't cope with fast ball movement

Just like Melbourne late this season this backline is short on players looking to win the ball back, they're all keen on the intercepts falling to them out the back or happy sticking to individual opponents.

Midfield and half forwards getting smashed is the bigger worry though. Casey are stocked with pressure smalls and can't get any pressure on.

Cry me a river 🤣

I thought all the mongrel maggots had gone away for their brown bag reward.

It’s always the umpires fault for many on here. Players just need to get on with the game and play hard tough football. The result will take care of itself.

Murdered by the umps but well and truly in the hunt. Carn here scorps

19-7 inside 50’s. That’s the game right there. They’re wanting to attack, whilst we’re happy to defend

Shame they can't do the player stats for the VFL grand final. they do them for the season weekly games.

Great efforts there from JVR. Crashes the pack then causes a stoppage.

Casey's ball movement is starting to look better. Final kick inside 50 still proving to be an issue.

Tomlinson has lost whatever pace he did have since his knee injury.

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
