How is the picture for today's Game very blurry here.

It’s looking great so far

Swans too quick - hope they win today and then belt the flogs from Geelong

So how about swans win, beat Geelong next week, buddy gets his swans flag, retires & we don't have to worry about him ever again, Dangerfield is heartbroken & we move on from the 2022 season

That Sydney forward entry was pure Melbourne. Long to the pocket to where the ruckman is, but the marking forward takes the grab.

Zorko after the game. "We'll go over in the pre-season, have a really good look at it and see how we can get better and back next year … we can't sweep it under the rug".

I'm hoping we learnt from 2018 and reviewed last friday night to see what we did wrong. It's obvious to us supporters but I still find it astonishing after our 2018 prelim disaster the team and Goody didn't review it.

Despite what was said, does anyone really believe that it wasn’t reviewed??

I did notice that apparently two million Victorian viewers turned off after half time including hundred thousand cats and Brissie put their beloved human murder game back on.

So well done AFL couldn't provide a decent game for half weekend so far.

They would have had a lot more second half viewers had the game started at 7:10 and not 7:50 pm.   So many neutrals in particular turn off for the second half unless the game is a ripper.

Glad Reid is having a good game against a team other than the Dees.

Lets hope he continues on with that

More like a final than the open training run last night.

Good game so far.  Heeney having a quiet one so far so some upside still for Sydney.

Been a while since I’ve watched a SCG game.  Such a unique ground.

The Zone of Indecision (26 points) strikes again

Sort of remember growing up that a five goal lead was game over most weeks.

Geelong will be very nervous right now, Sydney look like a team destined to win this.

I know. I hate the simplistic hand wringing over this. They are professional sports coaches who train for years to recognise patterns and structures in game. They watched the whole thing unfold up close in person. They knew what it was, because they saw it happening.

The Pies supporter group looks like a group of prison releases.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
