Without a Ruckmen they are doing remarkably well.
Will Defending get switched on at Halftime?

Seems like they are letting Neale go but are tagging the baggage handler??

Hipwood 2 of the SOFTEST FREES EVER

plus  Daniher the worst player I  have seen!

Just incredible for a Final. An open shootout

I cannot believe the Coaches are both letting it happen!!

This is old Full Forward days!!

Good game. Finely poised.

I still reckon the tiges will win. Lions are just too flaky to back in

I reckon it is helping them. They are too tall usually. McStay and Daniher can ruck.

53-59

thatll be close the final score tomorrow night

Haven’t seen enough Brisvegas games to know. It will be a huge effort if they pull it off

Hey playing where’s wally, can anyone find him

Brisbane are crap and Richmond can't play four quarters. Just toss a coin and the winner can play Sydney next week.

MFCSS Melbourne Football Club Schaudenfreude Syndrome

Edited by Chook

Both teams are carrying passengers, and some who switch off or make the simple errors.

Some of the goals after turnovers have been good.

There is too much fumbling from both sides.

Glad our coach never looks a goose when the vision pans to him.

Big umpires advantage to Bris.

Could be anyone's game.

Lachie Neale has the turning circle of an ant and the 2nd best handball game in the AFL. Jeez he’s a player.

I can see dusty is playing, but his influence is not what it was in the past

For a game of finals footy there is a certain lack of pressure. From both sides.

They’re saying 90,000 tomorrow night. Wow that would be a great result.

Yes but we will win going away tomorrow

we don’t need any MFCSS for a couple of years

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

  • POSTGAME: North Melbourne

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
