Enough water under the bridge, time heals all wounds etc, He's out of contract this year, and the most realistically gettable of the power forwards out there. Personally think he'd be great for us.

I think he’s finally found his feet up there and will become a true star of the game. Not sure he’d put that at risk to change everything again.

One of my favorite players when at Mfc.

Still have a soft spot for him with all he went through.

Great to see him firing.

Just have a poor one V us please Jesse.

Hogan looks happy and settled at GWS, can't see him going anywhere.

Not wrong and I wish him well, but between Brown, Tmac and Brayshaw salary we have a lot of change to throw around. Timing is good. GWS has alot of players to sign and a key defender that will command the mint in the near future.

And I thought the club left things respectfully with him, no bad blood etc. We were more cut up.

We were offered him by Freo when he left, they’d have taken peanuts. Jesse wanted to come back. Club said no due to his off field issues, probably understandably at the time. God we could do with him at the moment though!

Good for him - very happy he’s in a better place and playing good football.

Credit to the Giants and their program; people very rarely turn things around by themselves.

he’s been decent the last couple but could kick 70 this year

a lot more than injuries impacted his performances over the years

Never heard this reported at the time…I thought he wanted a fresh start in a non football state?

he had a meeting with mahoney and the football dept

the rumour mill has it that they asked him if he was prepared to give up the grog, and he said no

hence we landed sideshow bob and won a premiership instead

Not so much the penny dropping, but more the fact that he has a midfield that knows how to deliver the ball.  His belief in himself has skyrocketed and it shows!!

Agree with the last statement but the last 2 years it was purely injury, his headspace was great and his output was fantastic if he wasnt injured.

Hes loving his footy and really am happy for him. Our family was devestated when he left the Dees, just glad hes still playing!

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
